A Fun Food Tour - Joined a food tour in Galle conducted by Devi. It was brilliant . We walked through the quaint hotels and little alleyways of Galle experiencing some unusual authentic Sri Lankan cuisine coupled with seafood dishes that I had never had before. She offered us a stiff arrack cocktail that made us very happy instantly.🤣 The finale was a seafood broth which was served with roasted garlic bread. This was supreme . Don’t forget to join Devis food tour if you visit Galle Sri Lanka .

Entertaining culinary delight!! - Devi is an excellent guide with many entertaining stories of growing up in Sri Lanka and has a wealth of information on the history and cuisine of the country. The food we tasted was amazing, I couldn’t pick a favourite as they all were very tasty., but if I had to, the cocktail at the beginning was a highlight. I would recommend Devi la tour to anyone passing through Galle Fort.

Social Outing Accompanied with Devine Food and Drink - Devi is an absolute delight and a walking encyclopaedia on the histories of Ceylon. She guided us through the streets of Galle Fort where we sampled delicious food and drink, visited various historical buildings whilst in a fun social setting. Had a great afternoon and would recommend for all travellers.

An unmissable food experience with Devi - Devi was a delightful guide, she was so enthusiastic about her country and extremely entertaining. We went to quite a few establishments and sampled a lot of different food styles, sampled is probably the wrong word, we ate so much food l probably won't eat for a week. Not only did she introduce us to different and delicious foods, she shared her life as a young Sri Lankan growing up. All in all we had a great night, one we will remember for a long time

Great experience - Devi's food tour was amazing, my husband Gary and I enjoyed the whole experience, Food was wonderful and a great experience tasting all the traditional Srilankan dishes. I highly recommend this food tour as it was value for money and we had a great afternoon with Devi I will certainly book this tour when visiting Srilanka in the future

Davi's Great Galle Food, History and Shopping Tour - Davi's food tour is informative, smart and very entertaining. She weaves a fine afternoon of lunch and dinner with shopping and history. She is very knowledgeable and a great guide. She balances just enough walking with AC breaks and fine shopping opportunities!!

Great experience! - We booked this tour as a family of 5, three teens and two adults. It was wonderful! Devi was very knowledgeable about the area and the food provided. The food stops were extremely memorable, we had amazing culinary experiences, whilst learning all about the various traditional dishes of Sri Lanka. The kids loved the hopper making experience, which was made even more special, as they were also given the opportunity to assist with ‘hopper making’, such fun! A stop at one of the local jewelry shops provided a fascinating insight into the history of gemstones in the country, which is such a huge part of Galle. This tour should be a ‘must do’ activity for anyone visiting Galle, Devi is passionate and knowledgeable about the country, the area and the food, and this tour will provide you with a unique insight into Galle Fort, whilst tasting delicious food!! A culinary must do! - Galle Fort is a historic site in Sri Lanka. It is charming with its cobbled streets and tiled roofs. It reminds me of something from Italy. Devi's walking food tour is an absolute delight. We walked in the late afternoon while the sun was setting. We walked and had food and drinks in different restaurants. My favourite was Sri Lankan traditional Hoppers with five different curries and sambols. It started with a delicious Arrack cocktail and ended with chocolate biscuit pudding laced with Arrack. The whole meal was a delight and satiated the palate. The tour ended with a walk to the ramparts to see a beautiful sunset. I recommend this tour for locals as well as people new to the Island. It's well worth the money spent.

A culinary and cultural must-do! - Devi is a charming, professional and knowledgeable guide. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed this meticulously planned tour. We also enjoyed meeting the other participants on the tour. We particularly enjoyed the hoppers, sea food platter and chocolate biscuit pudding. Delicious! As a 70yr old, the walking part of the tour was manageable and we loved the sunset on the ramparts. I recommend Devi’s Walking Food Tour Taste of Galle as a culinary and cultural must-do when visiting Sri Lanka!
