Excellent and very interesting tour - We have just done this tour with the lovely Madama and would very highly recommend it . He has perfect English and is very informative and interesting about the history of Galle Fort from its earliest days up to the present time. He answered all of our questions and gave us a greater understanding of this wonderful country. He had a good sense of humour which made the tour very enjoyable . At 90 mins it was the ideal length in the heat . We thoroughly recommend it.

A perfect way to explore Galle - One of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka! Madawa was lots of fun - a wonderful storyteller who answered all of our many, many questions, both on Galle but also Sri Lanka as a whole. Me and my two girlfriends would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Galle. Thanks Madawa :)

Not just for shopping - Our walk with the excellent guide really enhanced our time in Galle Fort. We’ d spent two days exploring the shops and restaurants which was fun but had become repetitive, and expensive. He deepened our appreciation of the fort with history, stories that brought the ramparts to life for us. Extremely pleased to have spent time with him on the tour. Highly recommended

Brilliant Walking Tour - I had a private tour, 7.30am on Madawa’s walking tour. Great way to see, hear about the history, especially if you are a cricket fan, walking through Galle Old Town, without the crowds. Thank you Madawa for your friendly manner, great knowledge of Sri Lanka history, as well as Galle’s sites & the laughter we shared throughout our walk. Thoroughly recommended. Cheers Amanda

Perfect Introduction to Galle! - An exceptional walking tour. The guide, Madawa, is extremely knowledgeable about the area and has many interesting facts to tell! He speaks excellent English and answered many questions about Sri Lankan culture that my friend and I had. Recommend a morning tour as the temperature heats up.

Book this tour - A great afternoon with Madawa, who gave us a great tour imparting great knowledge with his excellent spoken English. He, too, was also very flexible with days due to inclement weather as we were originally due the tour the day before a thunderstorm struck. Definitely recommend his tour, and he is also a really nice guy!
