A great day trip - I had a great time with Shaminda seeing some of Southern Sri Lanka. My favorite spot was Fort Galle.. a great spot. The boat ride was lots of fun as well. Thanks for some great memories.

Excellent trip with Shaminda - Had a wonderful trip to southern Sri Lanka with Shaminda on Oct 3rd, 2024. He came on time, accomodated any requests that I had (stop for coffee and breakfast, etc.), and took me to all the cool spots. It was a treat tour that took ~12 hours from start to finish. I was back just around dinner time as we left at 6 am. All the spots are great, driver is awesome, car is very comfortable (I even napped on the way back).

Best day trip from Colombo! - I took the southern Sri Lanka day trip with Sigiritrip tours! It was a very pleasant experience and my guide Roshan was the best! I would highly recommend this tour to anybody who is here for a short stay in Sri Lanka and doesn’t have the time to move to other remote places from Colombo.

Great tour and guide - This was a great tour and my guide Vidu was excellent. This is a great trip to take when in Colombo to see some of Sri Lanka outside of the capital city. There are a lot of different activities offered on this tour and Vidu did an amazing job of telling me about all the options and letting me decide what I wanted to do the most. Vidu is also a great driver, which is very important because Sri Lanka traffic is pretty intense, but I was able to just relax and look at scenery with Vidu driving. I would say that you will interact with lots of people on this tour, like boat drivers, farmers, hatchery workers, waiters, etc. While certainly not required to tip everyone, I wish that I would have had a bit more cash with me on this tour so that I could tip all of the hard working people that helped show me a little bit of their wonderful country.

Galle - Vidu was great at showing other places, very helpful and interested in showing us the beautiful things. he made us taste the red banana and fresh coconut juice. he is very flexible. he was always interested if we were hungry or thirsty. I can only recommend doing the trips to sri lanka with Vidu.

He took us to local exclusive things as well like yellow coconut and red banana and many local stories, food and places in addiition to the planned trip

Beautiful day with a very knowledgable host - My trip with Vidu was very enjoyable! He had so much knowledge of the sights and towns. He also aimed to add something extra to the experience and let me customise the tour as needed. He is a very knowledge tour guide and such a lovely guy! I highly recommend this tour specially vidu!!!

Roshan was a great host and driver! - Roshan was a great host and driver! He was very kind, always held the car door open for us, and waited patiently as we explored each location. He even bought us tamarind pod snacks that were unique and delicious. And he took us to see a couple stops around Colombo.
Overall we had a great trip. It was a nice way to see Galle and very informative. However, the trip had a lot of extra fees that they were not upfront about. These actual fees should be explicitly listed in the itinerary before booking. For example, we went to the river safari and that was an additional $30 pp. The turtle conservation was another $20.
