Highlights
  • 1859 Ashton Villa - Ashton Villa

The extremely wealthy eccentric Betty Brown’s spirit is forever roaming the elegant halls of Ashton Villa. Many have seen Betty wearing a turquoise dress and carrying a fan during lavish event held at the mansion. Even death can’t keep Betty from being the life of the party…and scare the guests half to death.

  • Open Gates Conference Center - Sealy Mansion (Open Gates)

John Sealy wanted to the best for his family so, we decided to build them the largest and most lavish house on the Island. The children play room was in the attic and had a Broadway stage. To this day the children continue to perform for anyone brave enough to witness the stage doors opening and closing by themselves. Magnolia Sealy, the head of the household is seen wandering the halls too shy to speak with visitors.

Our investigations delve into an array of photographs and letters from those who refuse to remain in the afterlife! We diligently explore the spectral past to reveal the causes behind this relentless supernatural entity that continues to influence the island. Arm yourselves with garlic, crucifixes, and silver projectiles as we enter the shadowy realm of the ghost hunt. Beneficial for both firm believers and skeptics, this Ghost Tour will transform doubters into ghost seekers while simultaneously unfolding Galveston’s unique and intriguing paranormal history. Fun even for non believers - Lots of historic information and great details on houses including little known facts. Really held our interest. Not a "ghost person" but thought it'd be interesting to try and I enjoyed it. Wonderful storytelling and facts about the town. Great job Noelle!

Ghost tour - Tyler was our tour guide he was so good we learned a lot. He even shared with us his own personal experience at Normandy Inn and showed us BY FAR the most jaw dropping picture of a ghost. Definitely never forgetting that photo. It was crazy to know how day to day life goes on ALL while on top of 15,000 bodies and how weekend wedding vows ar exchange on top of another mass grave. We have been talking about our tour for 2 days now and already gathering a group to go back again. This is WORTH the trip and worth checking out.

Great experience! Great guide! - This was our first ghost tour , so we had no idea what to expect. To our surprise, the tour provided a great deal or history, legend, and lore about the island. Our tour guide, Tyler, was very knowledgeable and made the history of Galveston come alive. He also did a great job of sharing stories regarding the paranormal at each stop. Great experience!

Great Experience - We were in town for a work function and thought it might be a fun group activity to go on a ghost tour. There is a lot of history in this area and our host shared some very interesting facts on the island as we walked. There was plenty of time to stop for photos and to look around the outside of some of the places we stopped. While we didn't see any ghosts, we all enjoyed the experience and would recommend it to others.
