Visitors aboard the W.L. Moody Jr.’s property can marvel at the beautifully restored furnishings and designs. The estate bears testimony to Moody’s built wealth from a diversified portfolio comprising over 50 businesses, ranging from insurance, banking, hospitality, to railways, ranching and more. His wealth placed him among the top 10 richest individuals in America at the time of his passing. Moody also founded the Moody Foundation, and his daughter initiated the Mary Moody Northen Endowment, both of which continue to fund environmental, educational, social, and historical initiatives until today.

Amazing Experience - Gorgeous mansion! The entire house is in perfect position and gave an amazing sense of what it looked like over a hundred years ago. The staff was also extremely nice and helpful. You can tell they enjoy working there and talking about the Moody history.

Very enjoyable! - Great historical visit!! Loved that we were free to move thru at our own pace. Neat to have the guided tour by QR code and people that were working there were very friendly and informative.

Fun time - Awesome place to visit and learn about some history of the island. It's nice that you can go at your own pace and don't feel rushed. It was definitely a nice experience.

Beautiful house with great history! - We took the self guided tour. The audio available on your phone was great! The house is lovely and the history very interesting. My husband really enjoyed looking at the family cars! Great way to spend some time!
