Great tour of the Burren, the Cliffs and Inisheer - Phil was a very good guide. He knew the history and stories of the places we visited and had recommendations for places to see, eat and listen to music. The drive through the Burren was beautiful. On a previous trip, I'd wondered what the walls the went to the top of hills were all about, now I know! We stopped in a town that had a market going on and bought a couple souvenirs. We've been to the Cliffs before, but wanted to see it from the water and this didn't disappoint. We had plenty of time to get lots of pictures and were blessed with picture perfect, sunny weather. Then on to Inisheer, where we saw the shipwreck and castle. We chose to take a horse and buggy ride to see things and that wasn't as good as we thought. The buggy crammed 6 of us on it. We were told that he would stop where we would need to get off an hike up to the castle, but he didn't and when we got back there wasn't time to hike back up. He also didn't stop as promised at the cemetery, but I did hike back for that and the views from there. We'd have been better off renting bicycles to see what we wanted to see. Lunch on the island was ok, but we didn't expect much. It was a Friday, and we were on a ferry, so when we stopped at Inishmaan, we picked up a load of kids that go to school there and home for the weekends. I later met a man who had been there to be schooled in the Irish language. The drive back was made interesting by Phil pointing out some of the towns and history of the area. Overall a great experience that I would recommend to all. Just don't do the horse and buggy on Inisheer.

The Cliffs of Moher are a must see by boat - Weather was absolutely beautiful, even our guide Seán was amazed. Seán also kept us on time and was very entertaining. Fionn was an excellent driver who's driving skills were amazing. We never felt rushed and I feel like we we were given all the time we needed to see everything.

Wonderful Experience! - We expected rain (which is often the case in Ireland), but the weather cooperated and it turned out to be a sunny day. The tour guide Phillip was wonderful and kept us well entertained throughout the day. The ferry ride around the Cliffs of Moher was wonderful, however sitting in the back lower outside level of the ferry resulted in us being exposed to a tremendous amount of diesel exhaust which deterred from the experience. That said, try to snag a spot up top and you should be fine! It was great to explore Inisheer where we enjoyed a wonderful seafood chowder in one of the pubs and then a Guinness in another pub. All in all it was a great day and we would both recommend the tour!

A splendid Irish day visiting the Cliff of Moher, Inishsheer, and the Wild Atlantic Way - We were excited for this tour that would take us to several places using a small tour bus and 2 different ferries. We first left from Galway on the bus to the harbor. Connor was our guide for the day with Sarah as our expert driver. Connor let us know the itinerary for the day and was very good at giving good instructions and then repeating them again so we wouldn't forget when to be at the meeting point. He encouraged us along the way and looked out for the 19 of us. He was always cheerful. Sarah was an amazing driver. There were a few times on the narrow roads that both vehicles had to inch by but her experience really made the difference. We were excited to see the Cliffs of Moher at the bottom of the cliffs. Connor let us know the level of bouncing around from the surf at the beginning. Unfortunately, when we turned around to look at the cliffs, the surf changed and it became too rough to stay outside for pictures. It was still wonderful to view them even if we don't have many pictures. Inishsheer was very interesting and we enjoyed walking up to the O'Brien Castle ruins and looked at the cemetery with the sunken church. We saw the shipwreck on the way in and it was too windy, rainy, and cold for to do much more hiking. We enjoyed getting a glimpse of island life there. The second ferry ride was not as rough so we made it to the harbor without much problem. The ride back to Galway took us along the Wild Atlantic Way. Connor had us stop at a Thatched Roof home where he showed us peat and told us how he helped his grandfather dig out the peat, dry it, stack it, and then distribute it to family during the summer. He shared with us places to go just outside of Galway and Galway for trad sessions, and good food. We had a wonderful day with Connor and Sarah. Thanks Lally Tours!

Great small group tour - We took several small group tours during our trip to Ireland and Scotland and our Lally Tour was one of the best. The tour out of Galway covered everything we wanted to see in the area. Tour guides can make or break a tour. Our tour guide, Barry, was the FANTASTIC. He was knowledgeable, informative and entertaining.

Cliffs, Islands and more - What a beautiful day to take a boat ride. One of 2 clear days a year. The seas were calm and the tour guide Phil was hilarious. After pick up Phil talked about history overall, every town details and key points of interest we passed, and Sarah was a phenomenal driver around some of the tightest roads we have seen. We first did about a 45 min boat ride around the Cliffs and then we went to Aron Island where we spent about 2 hrs taking a 30 min horse and 15 Euro per person carriage ride to see the main points and cultural details of the island. Then we got back on the boat and road around for another hour before we got back to land where the driver met us and drove back. Got back around 7pm. Long day but worth it.
