- CVW8+WF Ballyconneely - Coasteering is a combination of adventure swimming, caving, climbing, scrambling and cliff jumping -where you will be exploring gullies, caves, cracks, and a variety of rock formations created over millennia by the Wild Atlantic Ocean! This activity is the embodiment of the Wild Atlantic Way and the best way to feel the power of the raw and wild west coast.
We use an amazing location that our expert guides know inside out to insure we will provide you with an amazing and safe Coasteering session in Connemara.
Coasteering can be for everyone, we will tailor each session to suit the groups sense of adventure, fitness, and ability. This is an action packed, adrenaline pumping activity and is our most popular new activity at Real Adventures, one not to be missed whilst your visiting Connemara.

Coolest Experience Ever - Danny and Steve were wonderful! My sister and I had never been coasteering before but Danny explained everything perfectly and made it a truly memorable experience. It was a wonderful way to explore the coastline and see Ireland from a new perspective. 10/10!

100% recommend this unique adventure - Fabulous adventure with an amazing instructor, had the opportunity to enjoy the wonderful views off the west coast while jumping into the crisp sea from the rocky coastline. A great way to get out and experience something new.
Exploring caves and rock climbing were some of the features of our tour. The instructor, Steve was an amazing guide and allowed for any nerves to be calmed and encouraged you to make the most out of the adventure, while always keeping a keen eye on safety.
All equipment needed was provided such as great quality full body wetsuits and some old shoes were available if needed, I would recommend bringing your own old shoes for fit/comfort, just make sure they have a good grip for climbing.
Overall an amazing experience that I would recommend highly to anyone!

Great buzz, lovely scenery and good for the soul! - Was a great few hours craic, Steve was excellent, really knew his stuff and made you feel comfortable. Was a great buzz especially the few jumps at the end and would highly recommend it.

Thrill seekers - Steve was amazing and shared lots of knowledgeable facts about the local fauna.
The jumps were thrilling and scary all at once! Highly recommend it. This was our second time and as the kids get older and more darling, Steve adjusted which cliff jumps we did to best suit their ability and comfort zones.

A fun outing to try without regret or worry! - A new sporting, fun activity that we discovered, carried out in complete safety and which we really enjoyed. This also allowed us to discover a place that we would not have discovered in Connemara.

So much fun - We had a super day coasteering with Steve from Real Adventures. We were a party of 2 x adult men and 3 x 11yo boys. Steve was a brilliant guide and communicator, making us all feel very safe. I was a bit dubious about the cost in advance, but can genuinely say it was money well spent. An incredibly memorable day. Could not recommend it more and will be back to do it again 👏👏👏
