Good food, good drink, good people! - My sister and I arrived in Galway the night before, and starting the next day on a food tour of Galway was a wonderful experience. Claire was a brilliant guide, and the food and drink were superb. We were able to explore the city afterwards, well-equipped to have a tasty and fun time.

Absolutely Wonderful Time with Sorcha - Sorcha was amazing! We had such a lovely time touring the city with her. We had a private tour for our family of 10. She had a great sense of humor and tons of knowledge about the different foods we tried. Our father had an ankle injury and she was very patient as we walked the streets of Galway. Will recommend and likely return.

We had Michelle today... - We had Michelle today take us on a yummy tour of Galway. We got to sample coffee, chocolate, pastries, savory food, including Irish stew and muscles and then some yummy ice cream all truly enjoyable. We actually went back the next day and got the cheeses and the meats that she showed us that were absolutely delicious and we continued to enjoy them our next two days. Excellent program supporting small businesses that represent Galway and truly enjoyed it.

Best day in Ireland! - This was my family’s favorite activity in Ireland! The tour group is just large enough to meet new people but small enough to fit in cute pubs, food stalls, and restaurants. Outstanding tour guide and great selection of food from a wide variety of places—food market to gin distillery to upscale restaurant to traditional pub. Truly a fantastic experience.

Great Tour in Galway - One of our favorite activities when we travel is to join food tours. We were pleasantly surprised when we found one in Galway, and weee very excited when they confirmed they can cater to vegetarians. Our guide Keri was warm and engaging and the amount and quality of food was ample and top-notch. Galway has become an international city and their culinary offerings speak to the incredible diversity of the city.

A Great Way To Eat Your Way Through Galway - I went on this tour with my family and we were lucky enough to get a small group, making for a fun and intimate food experience. Our leader Kerry mentioned she was relatively new to giving this tour, but she did a phenomenal job shepherding us around the city and giving us insights into the city. She talked not just about the lovely places we stopped at, but also mentioned some of the other quirks of the Galway culinary experience, from spice bags to poitÃn. Our only regret was that we did the tour on our last day, so we didn't get the chance to return to all the shops and restaurants we visited. All the more reason to go back!

Awesome Experience - I'm so glad I booked the food tour and would absolutely do it again. Danny did a fantastic job in guiding the group, and you could tell the tour was well thought out. Every item we tried tasted fantastic...so worth it.

Delicious food and history - Danny is a great guide and very knowledgeable about the Galway food scene. We had coffee, whiskey, sushi, yes sushi. A nice portion of lamb stew and mussels, the best seafood chowder of our entire trip. And finally, ice cream at Murphys to make for a delicious food tour.

Do the food tour!!!!!! FABULOUS ✅✅✅✅✅ - I always rely on Viator when I travel and have always been pleased! This tour however goes down in the books as my absolute favorite of all time!!!! Amazing value for the cost, history, amazing food and ALOT of it- not just tiny bites here and there. Our guide, Danny, was one of the absolute most passionate fun people I have ever had the joy to meet. His knowledge of history and the food scene in Galway was on point. He knew all the owners of the places we went and their beautiful stories of how they became the successful spots they were. The quality of everything we had was BEYOND!!! Great experience!!!

Nice guide but high price for average food. The chocolates were good but the coffee less than expected. - Not as interesting as other food tours I have taken in other countries. Some of the things we had did not even seem very typical (fried beet and goat cheese balls??)
