• The Browne Doorway - A relic of our Norman origins and a glimpse into our recent past.
• Lynch’s Castle - The best-preserved castle in Galway, where the influential Lynches lived and conducted their business.
• The Lynch Memorial - A landmark steeped in legend, lore, and ongoing debate.
• Saint Nicholas’ Collegiate Church - A beautifully maintained church in the heart of Galway, standing for over 700 years, with a treasure trove of history within its walls.
• The Claddagh Ring Museum - One of the original makers of the famous Claddagh Ring. Also, a great part of town to enjoy food, drink, and shopping options.
• Kirwan’s Lane - A charming laneway just off the main street, featuring several attractions and historical points of interest.
• Quay Street - Beyond Kirwan’s Lane, we’ll stroll down to Quay Street, taking in Blake’s Castle and more of Galway’s evolution over the years.
• The Spanish Arch - The last section of the original city wall and part of our maritime history. We’ll also look at Fishmarket and how it has changed and is used today.

Growing up in Galway has given me an intimate knowledge of the rich and vibrant history of the jewel of the west, Galway.

Much like the strong currents of the River Corrib that run through it, the stories and tales of its inhabitants have flowed through my life. A family heritage of storytelling imbued me with a love for imparting a good yarn.
These tours will have the history, the lore and the origins of Galway’s unique culture, from a true native Galwegian!
My walking tours draw from 20 years involvement in theatre, storytelling and music. My guided jaunts around Galway are the perfect marriage of all these aspects of my life. It will become abundantly clear the joy it provides me and I aim to share this joy with my customers.
