“Wonderful trip to Ember Indigenous Village - We hired Christian for a private tour to the Embera Indigenous village at the last minute after another tour company fell through. We had enjoyed his horseback riding tour so much we felt confident he would be a great choice. He did not disappoint us as the tour was great! The transportation to and from the dock was in a clean, comfortable and air-conditioned SUV. Christian is very personable and friendly. It was clear by his interactions with the Embera tribe that he was respected and welcomed. We traveled to the village by a motorboat and docked at one of the main islands. The Embera tribe are very friendly and welcoming. Christian was very good about translating everything into English and answering any question. The day was extremely hot, so remember to bring sunscreen, bug repellent, and hat/sunglasses! We were fortunate to also get a chance to cool off in the river afterwards. We had an awesome time and would definitely recommend Christian as a tour guide.” - Reviewed at 2024-08-01
