Our business offers a unique Hookah Shark Cage Diving excursion that provides an unhindered visual experience of diverse shark species and other sea creatures.
Our distinct hookah shark cage diving journey is personalized to cater to a maximum of 12 participants, thus providing more time for cage diving.
Prior diving experience is not a requirement, as the air source on the boat employs compressed air (excluding nitrox) for divers to breathe easily through a regulator located just beneath the water’s surface.
- Sightings of shark species are not guaranteed, given the unpredictable nature of marine life. If you don’t encounter sharks during your tour, we don’t provide refunds. However, we offer no-shark vouchers, valid for 2 years, enabling you to return for another trip at no extra cost. Please be aware that this voucher doesn’t include transportation.

Bucket list checked - This was an amazing experience.Was a bucket list item and was blessed to see sharks on my dive.The admin team(Amanda and Lauren-Lee) kept in contact and answered all questions that we had. The crew on the day was absolutely great, they ensured we were comfortable with all the information we needed, they assisted us during the dive and was so helpful. It was nerve wrecking at first but I enjoyed it so much that Il definitely do it again. The hookah dive is also worth the money spent as we was able to enjoy the dive more. It was a birthday month and we also received a slice of cake with lunch saying happy birthday. It was appreciated that the team took note of this. Thank you for the experience. I would recommend white shark diving to people that would like to experience this as the team is great, the equipment is also clean and of good quality.

Fantastic safe shark experience - I had a fantastic cage dive experience with this company. They picked me up from my accommodation in Cape Town and delivered me back for a very reasonable price. The whole process worked like clockwork. The team followed all the safety procedures and looked after us all very well. They made sure we had a great experience. The food was very welcome afterwards. We saw loads of big copper sharks. Memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you.

Fantastic experience! - A fantastic experience! The crew were so friendly and accommodating whilst also ensuring our safety was the priority. As great white sharks are endangered you are very unlikely to see them however we still saw several different sharks which were breathtaking! Delicious breakfast and lunch as well. Would 100% recommend!

Unforgettable experience - After having our original cage diving experience in Simon's Town cancelled due to the weather, we were very lucky that to be introduced to the White Shark Diving Company. The whole event from start to finish was fantastic - from the initial email contact less than 24 hours prior to our dive to the tasty post-dive lasagna back on shore, we couldn't have asked for anything more.
The 27 sharks and one inquisitive seal we saw on our dives resulted in an experience none of us will ever forget.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience, staff so relaxed and informative and friendly. Boat was way more spacious that other charters that day.
Dive lead was excellent and bringing sharks closer to the cage which really highlighted the detail and size of the copper sharks.
Lasagne lovely touch after the event!
Would do again in a heartbeat

Lots of sharks - Fantastic in every way! Sharks were plentiful and were non-stop at times he cage. Everyone had a chance to with them, and the option for a second change. The entire crew took care of us. Get the video, cheap and really good.

Fantastic experience. - The whole experience was great! We well kept informed of all of the arrangements. We were collected on time and driven from Stellenbosch to the venue. Breakfast was provided and.
My friend didn't want to dive so we had one dive ticket and one viewing ticket booked on tripadvidor. There were no issues with that. She had a great time and loved watching the sharks from the boat. Don't let viewing only stop you going, you'll love it!
The diving was fantastic. Really pleased I booked hookah. The crew were really patient as I was scared about the breathing but basically you then get 20 mins in the cage and can just sit and watch the sharks the whole time. After a couple of attempts I was able to settle in and breath happily. We saw 22 sharks in total. Mostly bronze whaler sharks. They were right up to the cage.
I was a bit worried about climbing in and out of the cage. I'm a larger lady (125kg) and so it's an issue to think about. I did take my own wetsuit but they have up to 3XL available. The crew helped me to climb out and I had nothing to worry about. Don't let this stop you if you're worried too. The whole experience was excellent.

Great trip - Found White Shark very professional. Staff and communication were great, equipment provided was good and we managed to see lots of bronze whaler sharks close up. Would recommend the hookah as I don't think I could have held my breath very long, having the air supply made it much more relaxing to stay down and observe.

Special prices and white sharks advertising scam - The website of the agency promises special prices till the end of January and for groups but when it comes to the real booking they do not intend to keep any of their offers inventing excuses such as the special offer seats are limited and you are not the luck one. They advertise white sharks which is a major attraction for all the tourists but in reality there are no white sharks for ages already and what you will see is bronze sharks. For advanced divers who dived with different sharks in their past experience this is not interesting at all. The breakfast they offer is something unbeatable. I would say there is nothing to eat at all. Paying 800rnds for the regulator is insane. They do not even give you weights for free and you will have to try to go down in a 5mm wet suit on your own just holding the breath. I would say that this excursion is a waste of money and time and overpriced on the top of that. Cheaters
