The boat ride to the dive site is approximately 20 minutes. Anchor is dropped and the floating cage is attached to the side of the boat. While our cage diving guests enjoy consecutive turns in the 8-man cage, our viewing only Guests can keep dry, and enjoy on board refreshments and sightings of the sharks and other marine creatures from the viewing deck of the boat. Anchor is lifted and the skipper heads back to dock. Back at our crew house guests enjoy a post-trip meal while watching video footage of their trip. Enjoy the scenic drive back to Cape Town in our Wi-Fi enabled shuttle or depart at your own convenience with your vehicle.

We are dedicated to the research and conservation of all shark species via our NPO Shark & Marine Research Institute.
- Sightings of shark species are not guaranteed, given the unpredictable nature of marine life. If you don’t encounter sharks during your tour, we don’t provide refunds. However, we offer no-shark vouchers, valid for 2 years, enabling you to return for another trip at no extra cost. Please be aware that this voucher doesn’t include transportation.

Unique experience with sharks! - We like this activity A LOT!! You see the sharks very, very close. We had all the time 4 bronze sharks. The boat is great, all the crew extremely friendly. We recond this very much!!! This a very unique and unsual activity!!
You should be aware though that in spite that most such trips are advertise as "white shark xxx", the white sharks are extremely unsual to spot (like once every six months). However, the spot bronze sharks almost every trip, but they are MUCH smaller (around 3m long) than a white shark.

White Shark diving company - What a fantastic experience was had going out to sea on the boat and seeing anything up to 25 bronze whaler sharks. The captain was so friendly and knowledgeable along with all of the staff. Breakfast was served before we left and lunch was served on returning back to shore. The volunteer’s studying the sharks were very knowledgeable along with the rest of the crew.

Well organized trip. We got to see many sharks. Plenty of Time in the water. Crew were very friendly and helpful.
Transport And breakfast And lunch very appreciated. Thanks to the driver and the lady in charge of the good also.

Top Organized Shark Cage Tour - It was a great experience when diving in a cage. Top organized team, we had great weather and about 10-15 sharks were constantly around our boat. I can only recommend the company

Still go even if you're not cage diving!! - My friend joined me on this trip. I was cage diving but she had no interest in getting in the cage.
She did not regret coming. Not diving should not stop you joining the trip. She still saw the sharks and had a fantastic trip, just watching from the boat. She took some photos and loved every minute.

An unforgettable moment that I will treasure forever. - I was nervous of getting in the water with sharks, but the staff gave an excellent safety briefing and helped me into and out of the viewing cage.
My experience was one I will never forget! Truely awesome. I didn’t want to get out and I was the first to request an opportunity to dive again.
The sharks are wild creatures and chose to come and be in our vicinity. There were up to 10 bronze whalers during our trip, we could see multiple sharks in front of us and also more underneath us.
I feel blessed to have witnessed these beautiful creatures in their natural habitat.
Also saw fur seals and a variety of seabirds including cape cormorant and brown skuas.
An unforgettable moment that I will treasure forever.

Great day for a great day - It was a perfect day when I went. Blue skies and warm weather (for early September). The chances of seeing great whites are very very slim. South Africa has been killing great whites in the thousands. However, chances are high that you will see bronze whaler sharks. You will enjoy the experience. The staff are so kind and knowledgeable. They’re fun and they take care of you. I loved my trip and would do it again 100%
