Geriold is pure Gold! - Geriold is the jackpot when it comes to finding the best tour guide! We loved our monkey encounter, we saw crocs from the bridge, had a delicious buffet lunch and smoothie and we saw a little sloth curled up in the palm tree on the beach. (They are nocturnal so be understanding with this part, as we have learned to respect that we are observing them in their natural habitat and this part cannot be a guarantee.) We learned a lot, which we loved and part of that was that Geriold answered all our many questions. Our day with Geriold exceeded our expectations! What a wonderful experience to visit Costa Rica and see the beauty and wonder of this country with a guide who is so passionate and knowledgeable. It’s also very apparent that he has a huge heart for humanity and animals alike. You won’t find a better guide! 100 percent recommend this outting with Geriold! Thank you! We will be back! Geriold was the perfect guide on a perfect tour - Geriold was incredibly knowledgeable about Costa Rica and all the animals we were able to see during this tour. He was very friendly and made us feel like good friends during the tour. We loved how small the group was and felt that the intimate setting was perfect for getting to know Geriold as well as the other tour members. Highly recommend this experience if you're interested at all in seeing some animals of Costa Rica up close (especially the white faced monkeys). 5/5 experience and we're incredibly glad we got the chance to go on this tour.

AMAZING!!! - I strongly recommend this tour with Geriold. We had so much fun with the monkeys and then we saw the crocodiles. We had a delicious lunch. Finally, we went to the white beach and saw a sloth bear. Geriold is extremely kind and hospitable. You will love it!!!

Wonderful experience! - Our guide, Gerald, was a great communicator from beginning to end. He answered all our questions and was so knowledgeable. The monkey experience was absolutely incredible. I never thought that we would be able to get so close to wild monkeys! The crocodile stop at the river along with the authentic food provided there were also excellent! Finally, the beautiful white sand beach completed the tour with seeing three sloths, multiple macaws, and unmatched views. Thank you! Thank you!

A fun day with a new friend! - This was such a special experience. Spending a morning with Geriold looking for animals felt like hanging out with a friend who wants to show you a good time. This adventure had an informal “homespun” feel that was perfect for us after a few much more structured excursions. He took us into a very small community at the edge of the jungle that’s helping watch over this monkey community, visited Tarcoles bridge where we saw 3 crocs, and then a delicious buffet lunch overlooking the river. Then we headed to a popular beach where sloths like to hang out in the palm trees. Geriold warned us we might not see any since the beach was busy that day but we saw two! One was a mom with a baby and we saw some really fascinating money/sloth dynamics up in the trees (hint: they aren’t friends). Thank you Geriold!

Best vacation activity - We are a group of 3 younger girls who haven’t visited this country before. Our guide immediately made us comfortable and we felt SO safe with him. He clearly had a deep love of his country and the wildlife. It was personally the BEST day of my life. Everything was gorgeous

Great guide and a great person - Geriold was great. Good communication and prompt. Took his time to explain many details and answered all questions in depth. He even went out of his way to ensure we got to see a momma Sloth and baby. Definitely recommend for a great monkey experience and knowledgeable guide.

Go play with the monkeys! - Our family had a blast playing with the monkeys. They jumped on our heads and jumped from person to person. One stayed on my sons head for a good 10 minutes.
We took a bus about an hour north of Jaco to see the monkeys, then drove back towards Jaco to see the river with the crocs, then to the beach to see 2 sloths.
Guides knew where to go to see the animals. Lunch was also provided.
Overall a good experience and we made lots of new memories.

Amazing day with monkeys and crocs! - This was a fabulous tour and Geriold was an amazing guide. He is so knowledgeable about the area and we all truly enjoyed spending the day with him and learning more about Costa Rica. I recommend booking a morning tour so that you can play with the monkeys early.
