Ascending into the Sky

The morning air was crisp as I stood in the open field of Gardnerville, surrounded by the majestic Sierra Nevada mountains. The anticipation was palpable among my fellow thrill-seekers as we prepared for the Carson Valley Hot-Air Balloon Ride.
