- Garni Temple - The Temple of Garni is the sole remaining Greco-Roman colonnaded structure in Armenia and the former Soviet Union. This Ionic pagan temple, situated in the village of Garni, Armenia, stands as the most renowned edifice and emblem of pre-Christian Armenia.
- The Monastery of Geghard - Geghard is a medieval monastery located in the Kotayk province of Armenia, partially hewn from the adjacent mountain and encircled by cliffs. It is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site with enhanced protection status. While the main chapel was constructed in 1215, the monastery complex was established in the 4th century by Gregory the Illuminator at the site of a sacred spring within a cave. Originally named Ayrivank, meaning “the Monastery of the Cave,” the monastery is now commonly known as Geghard, or more fully Geghardavank, meaning “the Monastery of the Spear.” This name derives from the spear that wounded Jesus during the Crucifixion, which was allegedly brought to Armenia by Apostle Jude, also known as Thaddeus, and is now displayed among other relics in the Echmiadzin treasury.
- Khor Virap - Khor Virap, meaning “deep dungeon,” is an Armenian monastery situated in the Ararat plain near the closed border with Turkey. The monastery once housed a theological seminary and served as the residence of the Armenian Catholicos. Khor Virap is notable as a monastery and pilgrimage site because Gregory the Illuminator was imprisoned here for about 14 years by King Tiridates III of Armenia. Gregory later became the king’s religious mentor, leading the country’s proselytizing efforts. In 301, Armenia became the first nation in the world to declare Christianity as its state religion. A chapel was initially erected at Khor Virap in 642 by Nerses III the Builder in honor of Saint Gregory.
- Charent’s Arch - Charent’s Arch is a monument and tourist attraction dedicated to the Armenian poet Yeghishe Charents, erected in 1957. The monument is located at an elevation of 1500 meters in the village of Voghjaberd in the Kotayk Province of Armenia.

Great Trip - Levon is a fantastic driver: thoughtful, kind and not overbearing (although he'll happily answer any questions you have). I especially enjoyed having time to myself to discover each site. The trip was fabulous.

Trip to Armenia - It was amazing to witness the evolution of architecture of Armenian orthodox Christianity churches as well as architecture from the soviet era! Perfect day tour with bonus visit to the Stone Symphony - My driver Gor picked me up promptly and looked after me all day. The time spent at each location was relaxed and the bonus visit to the Stone Symphony was the highlight of the day.

NOT the guided tour we expected - We enjoyed each stop on our tour, but we were disappointed that our driver was a driver only. We expected to have someone explain some of the details related to each stop, but our driver spoke no English. I believe we could have paid less for a driver only.

We don’t recommend this! - The “guide” was just a driver and spoke very little English (quasi none). The car was old (probably the 90’s) and very small. Our recommendations is rent your own car and do the tour, it will save you lots of money for the same result.
