• Gasadalur - The journey will take us through three delightful villages on Vágar Island, passing by the airport on the way to our first destination. Our initial stop on Vágar Island is the charming village of Gásadalur, famous for the breathtaking Múlafossur Waterfall, which provides one of the most iconic views in the Faroe Islands. The scenic Gásadalur was notably featured as a backdrop in the Swedish film “The Birdcatcher’s Son,” a story inspired by a local folktale from the early 19th century. It wasn’t until 2006 that a tunnel through the mountain was built, allowing vehicle access to Gásadalur. Before this, residents had to cross the mountain on foot for any errands outside the village.
• Tindhólmur - A photo stop to admire the magnificent islet, Tindhólmur, along with the sea stacks Drangarnir. Listen to the guide share the legend of Tindhólmur.
• Faroe Islands - Visit the quaint village of Bøur. Wander among the old houses and take a stroll down the volcanic black sandy beach.
• Bøsdalafossur Waterfall - Embark on a hike from Miðvágur to the renowned Slave Cliff. Discover the 30-meter high Bøsdalafossur Waterfall, cascading directly into the ocean, and experience the beginning of the floating lake. If the weather is favorable, we will enjoy our packed lunch in the wild during our hike.
