Bucket List - We were 3 guys started from Fontana Dam in NC, Trekking for 3 days. The trail from Fontana dam to the next camping site was brutal. Its just climbing up with tons of Rocks and Roots. You have to be really fit to cover this area going up and sometimes scary. The look from the top of the tower was breath taking and amazing. You have to carry bear spray and enough water and water purifiers to cover some of the Hiking. We met a lot of guys on the way and it was an amazing experience I will never forget. Me, Zack and Jason Elrod

AT section hiking with my son - Excellent shuttle driver. He was very friendly & knowledgeable. Prompt & courteous. I would use the shuttle for my next AT section hike.

A must see at least once in your life! - This is a sight to see. But be aware it is a ton of walking! Rope bridges, stairs upon stairs. It is just amazing how this is built in a mountain side. It’s so beautiful. We didn’t do the activities but I’m sure they are A+ It’s all extraordinary! We love the chairlift ride up & down. But you can take a gondola or a truck up the road. Also 3 or 4 restaurants up there. It really is great. It is pricey but how else do you pay for such a marvel in the mountain!

A nice time for a day. - First it is well worth the extra for the Express pass. The chair lift to the top was very slow with a lot of stop and starts due to elderly people getting off and on. The gondola line was very long but may be worth the wait if you have little ones that are unruly. The zip line was fine. The guides were fun and encouraging. I didn't want to, but they were good about coaxing me and my wife. We did the tree top walk, and that was good too.

Tourist trap - Husband was in a wheelchair due to a foot injury, waited in a line for more than an hour for a chondala to come down the mountain so we could get to the top (only had two running, one came every 30 minutes), came with our adult children and our grandchildren (age 2, 8). After finally getting to the top , where it was unbearable hot, found that the place they claim is terrific for families, and all handicap accesible clearly is not, our 2 year old grandson was not permitted to enter play area, said he was too small, but offered us to allow in a pretty coy pond? Pushing a wheel chair up the hills there is next to impossible, lunch for 2 people $58.00, was some bbq brisket, 2 drinks, and macaroni & cheese. Our oldest daughter had a heat stroke and required medical attention. It basically is a place to ride up a mountain, drink all day, and listen to some music
