So much fun! - Our family of four, including two teenagers had a really good time on the mountain coaster! We went on a weekday before noon so there wasn’t a big line. The coaster goes through the woods which everyone liked. It was so much fun we rode again at a discounted price. Friendly staff and nice facilities!

The staff here is very friendly and helpful! - This place deserves a 5 ⭐️ their staff is on point! Talked us through everything! This was the first time my great niece, who is three, ride something like this! Sad part her camera didn’t record her reaction! The crew, Becca, sent them back up the mountain to get a video (of course we purchased it!) Thank you to the kind and friendly staff that made my great niece’s experience worth it! They definitely went over and beyond! Becca even came out to snap a family picture!!! Thanks Becca for your hospitality!

Rode in Daytime and Night - We took Grand Daughters during the day and it was 18 dollars- it takes about 3-5 minutes the entire ride but is so much fun and our top speed was 29.7. They had a special and you could ride again for half price just show your receipt. They said it was fun at night so we went back and rode for 8 bucks each- the lights are beautiful and night time is the best, but while we did t have to wait during the day- we did at night. But worth it!

Immersed in Nature - So fast and scary. Loved it! The best part of this coaster is the location. You are immersed in nature and it is not commercialized and gimmicky.

A wonderful stop. Worth the time and money - An over all great experience. We were greeted by smiling happy employees who had a laugh and made the trip even better. It is a great break stop from the ride through the smokies. The kids enjoyed it so much they went a second time trying to go faster than the time before. You can even see the video after the ride.

Our First Mountain Coaster – and We Rode at Night! - This was our very first time riding a mountain coaster, and the Moonshine Mountain Coaster did not disappoint! We opted for a nighttime ride, and it was absolutely magical. The entire track is lit up with vibrant, colorful lights that made the experience feel like a glowing rollercoaster through the Smoky Mountains. What we loved most was being able to control our own speed—it made it perfect for beginners like us while still offering plenty of excitement. The ride was smooth, the staff was helpful and friendly, and we felt completely safe the whole time. Whether you’re new to mountain coasters or a thrill-seeker looking for a fun twist, this is a must-do in Gatlinburg—especially after dark!

Age requirements... - Age requirements confusing. Site says infants allowed on laps but our 2 year old was not tall enough. Should have specified a height requirement.

Great for youth, not seniors. - There are a lot of family friendly activities. Getting to them often requires walking, so those with mobility issues may have to forgo many of the activities in Gatlinburg. Take a cruise instead.
