An amazing and exciting flight to the Isle of Wight in an open cockpit gyrocopter - This was a private tour. Started at Shoreham (Brighton Airport) for a safety briefing and an overview of how the gyrocopter works. Then we took off which was great fun and surprisingly smooth. This is an open cockpit gyrocopter and there's not much space to move around in but it's exciting, especially being in the open elements.
We then flew down to Portsmouth and crossed over the Solent spotting boats and a few historical forts. We then flew around the Needles. Loved this!

Lloyd is a knowledgable and capable pilot and I felt safe in the aircraft.
Highlights: Taking off which was great fun and because the gyrocopter flies low you can wave at people! Definitely give it a go if you've never done anything like this before. It's exciting and something a bit different.
