Highlights

Doune Castle - Walk in the footsteps of Jamie and Claire from Outlander, explore castle Leoch and learn about all the different areas that they filmed in the castle with your recorder that you will receive at the front entrance, you can also hear about another film Monty python and the holy grail.
Loch Lubnaig - Stop here for some refreshments and a look at the Loch and mountains in this stunning part of the countryside.
Balquhidder Church Ruins - We will visit the grave of one of Scotland’s famous legends Rob Roy McGregor and the church grounds surrounding it.
Kilchurn Castle - See one of the most photographed castles in all of Scotland, it once belonged to the fierce Campbell clan but now it’s Historic Scotland that looks after this castle ruin now.
Inveraray - Stop in Inveraray for lunch and a walk up to the castle and gardens where the chief of the clan Campbell live today or if you fancy visiting the old town jail built in the 1800s that’s just a short walk away passing the Whisky shops as you go!
Rest and be Thankful - We will stop at this viewpoint giving you a chance to see the hill that keeps subsiding in the winter rain, there are many waterfalls in this area. You will get a chance to look down on the old military road which is quite a way down, the whole area is stunning!
Luss - Luss is an absolutely stunning little village, you can walk along the banks of Loch Lomond and look to the left as you are facing the Loch and you will see Ben Lomond the mountain in which Loch Lomond is named after. Luss is a really lively place with people taking part in water sports and barbecuing down on the beach.
