Firstly, learn about the importance of fire, its use through time and the evidence of people at Dundreggan. See examples of traditional things people would use as tinder to start a fire such as mushrooms, bark and moss.
Have a go at using modern fire strikers to create sparks and make your own mini fire, then use flint and steel and create fire by friction using a bow drill.
