We will see buildings and churches that served as locations for the Sailors’ Guilds as well as the gardens where the first 13 rules of golf were established and where the first Golf Open in history was held.

Of course, we will talk about the great Bubonic Plague of 1645 and we will visit the Cemetery of the South Leith Parish Church,

Leith has an old port that saw the landing of the kings and queens who forged the past, present and future of this country and whose history we will have to delve into to understand the fundamental role that this neighborhood has played in the history of Scotland.

We will approach the world of the arts to learn about the biography of Eduardo Paolozzi, an illustrious resident of this neighborhood and creator of POP art, and we will also learn about the locations of the novel and subsequent cult film “Trainspotting”, as well as learn about the biography of its author, Irvine Welsh.
