Good place - Rides were awesome and cool. The tread wall was hard but worth it. Butterfly was good and 4d cinema was great! Can't believe how lovely it was. Dion age eight

Visit with thee year old - Visited with our three year old on a weekday, the price was decent (£44 for all three of us) and we spent 3.5 hours there. That included going on 2 rides, to the 4d cinema, lots of Lego and duplo building, using the big and small soft plays, building and racing cars and using the little tykes cars. Think she was the perfect age as there was very little she couldn’t do. Reminded me how much I like Lego! I think it made a difference that it was a weekday, it was quiet, no queues and walked straight onto rides.

Enjoyable morning. - Little boy enjoyed it, it’s just very dark in areas especially around the ninjago section. Hard to see the Lego pieces when you are trying to build, which annoyed my little boy at times.

Creative Workshop left my child in tears… don’t waste your time or money - I took my 4 and 6 year old to Legoland Discovery Centre.
As part of our visit we paid for the Activity Pack and the Creative Workshop.
The Discovery Centre is basically a few exhibits, a couple of rides, a soft play area and lots of chances to build Lego.
The activity pack was well worth it.
However, the Creative Workshop was very disappointing. We basically got given a pack of Lego and a set of instructions and told to get on with it. The “master builder” they promised, struggled to follow the instructions himself, for what was actually a very difficult build. My 6 year old loves building Lego, and can pretty much follow the instructions on the kits he has at home without much assistance… he actually left the Creative Workshop in tears.
It was an hour out of his time in the Discovery Centre that he could have spent doing something else.

New Year Eve Party - We attended the New Year’s Eve party again this year, marking our second time visiting. While the concept remains promising, the execution left much to be desired. Unfortunately, there was nothing new compared to last year—it felt exactly the same.
The event included a face painting station, but there was only one person managing it, and she appeared overwhelmed. My 3-year-old was a bit fidgety during the process, and her frustration was evident. Given that this is a family-focused event, I expected more patience and understanding.
By around 3 PM, food options were very limited. Most of the sandwiches were gone, and there were no warm food options available for kids, which was disappointing.
Last year’s balloon drop was a highlight, but this time, it felt rushed and disorganised. The announcement was made just a couple of minutes beforehand, leaving no time for excitement to build. The actual drop was chaotic, with people pushing and shoving.
This event has the potential to be a fantastic annual tradition, but it needs better planning and more engaging activities. At £75 for two adults and a toddler, we didn’t feel it was worth the price.

Average, will not return. - Pretty average, overpriced, I say overpriced but it’s normal these days to pay over the odds for most attractions, not really much to do, 2 rides included, average rides, ok for my 6 year old but anyone over that age will not be impressed. A soft play area, quite small, and poorly lit, the whole place felt dark and gloomy. Lots of lego to build with but my boy can do that at home, 2 hours in there is plenty, my 6 year old was bored after 2 hours and wanted to go so at nearly a hundred pounds for us all for 2 hours entertainment overall we thought it was poor value. The Lego shop is also really overpriced, the model my boy wanted was £55 in the shop yet only £36 on Amazon, so we ordered it on Amazon for next day delivery. Been there done it, would not return or recommend.

Disappointed - I’ve brought my son here a couple of times and we’ve always enjoyed being here. Today, it felt like some of the staff were being too cranky. You could tell that the staff cleaning and collecting lego bricks have had enough. No cheerful, friendly smiles and they were even banging some of the furniture around. It was fairly quiet when we were there but the tables by the under 5 play area were filthy, bins were full and smelt bad as you walk along. The toilets were so dirty we had to retreat! The lady manning the VR experience and the spin-a-wheel activity just as you exit were both so gloomy. 2 managers in Christmas jumpers stood by the gift shop exit without a peep of “thanks for coming” or “see you again.” The only people who showed a bit of holiday cheer is the lady by the photobooth, the gentleman operating merlin’s ride and the staff in Santa’s grotto!! Again, we’ve been here a couple of times and we’ve had the most pleasant experience everytime apart from today. It’s an attraction for younger kids so maybe a bit of excitement and a welcoming attitude from the staff will make the kids’ experience even better.

Not worth the money - We attended the adults only event night after hearing about it through a friend. First I was pretty annoyed that we had to pay even with a Merlin annual pass, when entry is free if you have children during the day.
But I really wanted to tick the rides off my list, so we went for it. The first ride had a massive queue that took ages to move because of technical difficulties. Then they announced it would close about 40 minutes after the event opened for the night.
The miniature village was AMAZING I will admit. Seeing the little Lego Oblivion plunge down the hole and the Flying Machines at Blackpool made the experience more worth it.
Then you’re let into a room where you can basically play with Lego. There were no real instructions or anything. I wanted to go into the play area as it wasn’t blocked off but wasn’t sure adults were allowed. Nothing was made clear. The 4D cinema didn’t open. Neither was the upcharge VR rollercoaster.
We did enjoy the second ride, where you cycle and fly through the air. That was great. But all the little kid bits obviously were closed, and I’m just not sure why were we expected to pay £7.50 WITH AN ANNUAL PASS to do half an attraction. £12.50 normal price!!!
Then exit through the gift shop and it’s over. Maybe more fun if you really like Lego but you’d have to be an enthusiast.
Tbh I can’t even imagine kids would have that much fun.

Run down and filthy - We first visited in 2022 and loved it - however pretty much nothing has changed since then which is a disappointment. It also appears that it hasn’t been deep cleaned since then either - the large Lego installations (for children to build on and play with) were absolutely disgusting. If you dared to ‘dig’ in the tubs of Lego you ended up with a collection of crumbs and nasties under your nails. Massively in need of investment and a good old clean!

Scam - Code didn’t work at the venue! The queue was held up for over 15mins. Do not use this website. The kind lady at the desk let us through after seeing what the issue was.
