Duration: 1 hour, 10 minutes

Highlights
  • Gdansk Shipyard - The cruise starts from the post-shipyard area - from the former Imperial Shipyard, where the production of u-boats took place. And right next to the existing shipbuilding industry - characteristic Gdansk cranes, specialized ships, exclusive yachts and a unique industrial atmosphere.
  • Motlawa River Embankment (Dlugie Pobrzeze) - Cruising along the long Motlawa river Embankment we will see the remains of the wall of the Teutonic Castle with The Swan tower, Water Gates leading to the city, including the famous Crane from 15th century, the most beautiful of the gates - the St. Mary’s Gate and the oldest gate - the Green Gate.
  • Ołowianka B&B - Olowianka Island - The functional use of the island has changed over the years. At present, on the island, we will see the Polish Baltic Philharmonic, the Royal Granary, the National Maritime Museum and the of Stonemason’s Bridge.

Granary Island - The Green Bridge connects the main part of the old town with the Granary Island. It is not difficult to guess what was located on the island given the name(the island had a storehouse where all the goods were kept). Currently, on the Island, we will see, among others remains of old granaries, including the best preserved granary Blue Lamb and their modern incarnation (the reconstruction of the Island after the Second World War).

Galley boat tour gives a different perspective on the historical value of the Main City. With us you will see unique places not available for walkers.

Title - Professional arrangement, interesting route, duration is perfect. All area valuable to see was shown. Dear Viator!I dont like “obligatory” rules for evaluation like:: add more words (min 100 char, obligatory titeling, etc. In many cases due to this reasons I does not commentig!

Nice open boat trip around the sights of Gdansk old town - Nice trip on an open boat around the sights of Gdansk old town. Nice small boat (max 12 people) with an English guide. Particularly enjoyed travelling out to the original bastion water defences which we had not seen. The guide was good, but needed to be more knowledgeable on the history of Gdansk to be "excellent". Very good value for money. No cover – umbrellas provided – so suspect less enjoyable in the rain.

Great way to see Gdańsk - Friendly crew. A bit hard to find the pick up point but overall a nice experience. I would recommend it if you want to go for the sea-nary not the guiding.
