Highlights
  • Crane - The Crane stands as a prominent symbol of Gdansk, embodying the remnants of the city’s illustrious trading era. Constructed in the mid-15th century, it was part of the largest double-towered gate along the shoreline. It was used for installing and removing ship masts, as well as loading and unloading heavy cargo from docked vessels. Remarkably, this human-powered mechanism could lift loads up to 2000kg, making it the most significant crane in medieval Europe.
  • SS Soldek - SS Sołdek was a Polish freighter designed for transporting coal and ore.
  • Gdansk Shipyard - The Gdansk Remontowa Shipyard remains an active, bustling yard, ideal for those interested in observing ships of various sizes undergoing repair or construction. It’s fascinating to paddle nearby and watch workers on the ferries.
  • Ołowianka B&B - Enjoy an amazing kayak tour along the Motlawa River, circling two of Gdansk’s islands: Granary Island and Olowianka Island. Gdansk’s unique location at the intersection of sea and river routes, including the Vistula River at the Baltic estuary, as well as the Radunia and Motlawa rivers, has greatly influenced its development. Historical literature and drawings highlight water as a crucial element of the city’s life. Today, it’s essential to showcase Gdansk’s connection to water.
  • Motlawa River Embankment (Dlugie Pobrzeze) - A kayak tour offers a unique perspective on the historical significance of the Main City. Paddling through the canals provides the freedom to explore areas inaccessible to ferries. We will present a completely different view of Gdansk compared to what you’ve seen on land.

Unmissable - Amazing, different and very well planned. We were greeted by Mike who gave us all the safety and maneuvering directions of the Kayak, once on the water, the ride and all the information he gave us, made the tour very complete, very enjoyable and also full of interesting information. It is very interesting to know a city from the water. You can tell that Mike loves what he does, many congratulations and if you go to Gdansk do not stop doing this activity.

Must do in Gdansk! - This was a really good experience! Our tour guide Eryk was excellent making sure everyone knew what they were doing before entering the water. There were also lockers available to put any belongings and waterproof phone cases if you want to take your phone out with you. The tour itself lasts around 2.5 hours, with a number of stops where you are given some interesting facts about the city and landmarks. Thank you!
