Top notch - The guide Czarek (Charlie) was outstanding: informative, knowledgeable and entertaining. His enthusiasm for his home town Gdansk and its history was obvious.

Fantastic walk around Gdansk - I was in Gdansk for a few days with friends. I like a good walking tour and our guide Czarek did an excellent job. At the start he was having to compete to be heard above the lively celebration and parade by the University students in the old town. He covered a lot of ground over two and a half hours and we found out about some of the famous residents of the city. It was particularly moving to visit the Polish Post office and the memorial to the brave people who held out against the German army and their tragic fate. An great introduction to the city.

Excellent introduction to Gdansk - I went on the walk led by Czarek. It was an excellent introduction to Gdansk, covering the fascinating history, architecture and culture of the city. It gave me lots of ideas of things to explore further later.

A very good walking tour. - As we were in Gdansk I thought we would do a walking tour as it opens up the city for the rest of our stay and we can relate to what we see.We had booked the world war 2 terror tour but it was cancelled the night before which I was not happy with,so we booked the Gdansk Main town tour which was very good the young lady who took us on the tour was very very good. The tour took 2hours 35 minutes but it seemed to go very quickly.

Just okay. - The tour guide was knowledgable, but the pace was super slow, the tour group too large (although her voice carried). She also started the tour with a discussion of tipping, and then kept foreshadowing comments going through the tour - when people would ask questions, lots of "more on that later..." I generally love walking tours - and tend to schedule more than one in the cities I visit, but this is one I wish I'd skipped and used the visit time elsewhere.
