Lots of fun, we had a great time! - We had the best time on this tour! Dine was our guide, and he was so happy and helpful and lovely! Make sure you do the Gold option with the fondue lunch and train though, otherwise you get stuck on the bus for a longer time. Was so worth it!

Gruyeres cheese and mountain view - We had a great time. It was a small group and Din our tour guide/driver kept us informed and entertained. We got to sample the Gruyeres cheese that is made there along with a very delicious fondue. So much to see and the weather was perfect, not too hot. I would recommend this trip to everyone.

Worth the money - Roger, our tour guide, was wonderful! He informed us all of the 2.5 hour journey to the first site and between each of the three stops. Each stop had wonderful tours and were fascinating. Of course the views were something to behold. Roger made sure we all had what we needed. He really was great at his job.

Gruyeres with museum visit - The Giger Museum is highly recommended, but is not for children under 14 years I find. It has images that are not adult. The Château Gruyeres is beautiful and you can download a free audio guide via app and learn exciting details about the castle with musical accompaniment. Also has a special offer for children in french/german Gruyeres is a beautiful place but fully designed for tourists.

Wasn't Great - This tour was good, but not great. The chocolate tour was the highlight of the trip! If that's what you're interested in, I highly recommend finding a different tour that focuses on the chocolate tour - or going there on your own. We really enjoyed it and there was a lot of chocolate to taste at the end of the tour. The cheese tour itself was fine, but they handed you your cheese at the beginning of the tour, which we held until the end expecting a guided tasting of the 3 cheeses after the tour. BUT - there was nothing. After the tour ended there was no place to go to taste the cheese and no guidance on what to look for when tasting cheese. There was no education on what makes a good cheese or not. And the cheese got warm during the tour. We did enjoy our free time in Gruyeres. BUT probably the worst part of the trip was the lack of information for the trip overall. it was advertised as a 9 hour tour, so we made dinner reservations based on that. The tour was over 10 hours and we had to change our reservation. We also declined the train upgrade only to find out that if you don't take the train, you ride the bus all the way to Montreux before returning to Geneva. We thought the scenic ride back to Geneva would be exactly that (from Gruyeres back to Geneva). We did NOT expect to go out of our way to make the trip longer. It was a waste of time.

Tour Guide Flop - Of the six tours that we booked this one was beyond disappointing. We had a driver and tour guide, and how is it possible that there were no introductions of who are tour guide was until one hour and 55 minutes later when we got to our first destination. Getting off of the bus you could barely hear what the tour guide was telling us and then it was like a freefall, knowing that we had to be back to the bus at a certain time. The advertisement of a chocolate factory was beyond disappointing, as we have visited chocolate factories in many different countries and this just seem to be a upsell on chocolate with very little information, education. As for the cheese portion of the tour, this was beyond disappointing. Two go in lineup and be given an audio recording to be placed around your neck and then to self guide yourself through a very limited aspect of cheesemaking felt well a disappointment. It was a sentiment that was shared with over 50% of those people on the tour to go to the city of Gruyere and only have a rushed 1 hour seemed like the tour guide had no sense of timing. For somebody who lived in Switzerland and had returned with family, this tour was one that I would highly not recommend for anyone who is truly seeking to have a five star experience NOT WORTH THE MONEY. And the crazy part about it was, we had purchased the gold package which included lunch only to have the tour guide say that if you wanted to purchase lunch, it would actually be cheaper than through the actual tour company. Seriously this was not something those that paid for the package wanted to hear. Say away from this tour and the tour company.
