A nice and relaxing introduction to Geneva! - We did this on our first day, a few hours after we landed, which was a wonderful decision since even horribly jetlagged this was something we could experience and enjoy. Our guide was great, and the cheese was delicious! There are drink options other than wine if you are avoiding alchohol, which is nice.

Easily the best value tour in Geneva! - Captain was kind, friendly and very professional. He provided all the passengers a great tour on the lake while sipping wine and snacking!

Fun activity with smaller group - Like others have mentioned, this boat is hard to find so do lookout for small bird sign and try to be there atleast 15 minutes before your scheduled time and not miss this activity. It’s a 12 seater boat and not as fancy or choppy and the captain served us great cheese n beverages. History of Geneva and other fun facts were shared along the way. You get pretty close to Jet. definitely recommend this company and activity.

Cool Tour - The most memorable is getting on that lake and watching that water soar. The calmness of being on the lake made me not want to get off, adding the glass of wine that I received. Julian(so) our guide was very humble and sweet and did a great job manning the boat, giving us refills along with giving the tour. A very cool guy. It was only 2 of us which was really delightful! The frustrating part of this tour was trying to find the exact location. While we ask other tour guides they sent me in 2 different areas which was not the correct location. Your instructions did say next to the gray crane but there were private boats docked in that area and so it was hard to determine where exactly it was. Thank goodness I’m an early bird so I had time to find the location.

Pleasant tour, difficult to locate - Horrible instructions on where to meet. Tour guide was very pleasant and courteous…however the only thing he pointed out was Mont Blanc- no other information or landmarks. He got us close to the fountain which was nice.

Totally worth it - Contrary to some of the negative comments about this trip, the boat was completely easy to find. It was right next to the gray crane, as described in the meeting point text supplied by Viator. Geneva Soghtseeing Tours painted on the side of the boat. No frills, relaxing hour off our feet, giving us a different perspective of Geneva and the surrounding area. Good wine, good cheese and crackers. Great close-up sensory experience with the Jet d’Eau. Overall a very fun diversion.

The paddle boats looked more fun! - Honestly we thought it was a bit expensive for what it was but it may improve your experience if you like cheese and cheap wine. We actually found the location ok, it was just finding parking near by that threw us a little as there was also road works in the city. We still made it on time but consequently as the last ones on the boat we had to settle for seating on the only table for 4; sharing with another couple who quite clearly would rather had the had the whole space to themselves as they did not make it easy for us to share the space. We sadly felt in the way the whole trip and that probably made us a bit biased against the trip. We can’t fault Julian for his information, service, good English and good humour. He clearly has a passion for boats too as he couldn’t stop talking about them! We were blessed with good weather but it really wasn’t for us. There were also paddle boats for rent and had we known that would have probably been a lot more enjoyable for us a couple if not harder work!
