Highlights
  • Liguria - Step into a home located on the top floor of a historic building next to the Old Port and take in the breathtaking view from the terrace overlooking the city. Simple ingredients: flavor, water, eggs for a delightful dish. The secret lies in blending raw ingredients with passion and grandma’s recipes to create delicacies; you’ll learn to do this with your family and friends.

Enter the home of your friendly chef and embark on a sensory journey through Italian culinary traditions. You’ll prepare the dough for pasta Fresca, enhancing your cooking skills to create your favorite dish.

Hand-knead Genoese Pasta Matta, Focaccia di Recco following historical recipes, Savory pie with beets and fresh cheese, and Ligurian apricot gobeletti. Once the work is done, relax on the beautiful terrace overlooking the old city center and savor the fruits of your labor along with a wine tasting. You’ll sample three wines: vermentino or pigato, bianchetta, and one red: granaccia or ormeasco, depending on availability.

The apartment is on the 5th floor of a historic palace and does not have an elevator!

True Italian Experience - Alberto was a wonderful host and shared historical, traditional knowledge with us to teach us not just how to make pesto and fresh pasta, but how to make the very best! It was delicious and he was charming and hospitable. He’s as Italian as they come! Just know that there are many stairs to climb-our app didn’t inform us of that—and leave plenty of time to find the location.

Unique experience - The experience was great, I found everything extremely interesting and I go home having learned a lot. The possibility of kneading by hand is very interesting but also the explanation of how to best use the appliances. What can I say, absolutely recommended.
