Greatest italian experience - This is 5-stars experience. Our chef was Alberto, we had a good experience from the beginning to the end. He explains the history from each ingredient and then he showed us how to prepare pesto and pasta. He provides us water, coffee and bread as appetizers. Then after the making of the pasta and pesto, we ate the meal inside the house of Alberto. At the end, to finish with the cooking experience he prepared us tiramisú. He was a good host and very attentive. Also, if you are traveling from a cruise, you have plenty of time to enjoy this experience. This experience was a highlight of our trip.

Fantastic Pasta and Pesto Class in Genoa - What a fantastic afternoon we had in Genoa. Alberto was such a gracious host and we loved this experience so much. I knew nothing about making pesto or pasta and feel like I could now do it on my own with the right equipment at home. His rooftop kitchen was stunning. We had a great group that all came from different parts of the world and all enjoyed it so much. We finished the day off by getting to experience the fruits of our labor along with some great wine and even better conversations with our new friends and fellow cooks! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone.

Incredible Experience! - We loved the cooking class with Alberto. He was a charming, warm and sociable host and his apartment, where the cooking class was held, was lovely -the roof deck was breathtaking. Alberto was a gifted instructor and we will definitely be putting the skills we learned to good use when we return home. We can't recommend the class highly enough. A wonderful day and experience!

What An Incredible Rooftop Experience!!! - My wife and I met Marco at his private home. It was 6 flights of stairs up to his rooftop veranda where we cooked and dined. The view and atmosphere were absolutely amazing. Marco was fun, informative and entertaining. We used all fresh and top quality ingredients. We made pasta using chestnut flour. The pesto was made from basil, garlic, pine nuts , cheese, and olive oil. Everything was fron the local area of Genoa. We even used a Mortar and Pestle that had been in Marco's family for over 120 years. The pasta and pesto were the best we have ever eaten. Marco was a lovely host, who also made us fresh breads and desert. We topped the experience off with local wine from the region. We would highly recommend doing this tour if you are in Genoa. My wife and I wil definitely do it again the next time we return to Genoa.

Amazing rooftop experience! - Beautiful rooftop setting with hands-on experience. Alberto provided us with instruction and history on making pesto and pasta. The best part was eating it with a local wine and a delicious dessert. It was an amazing afternoon and exceeded my expectations.

Ready for the Pesto Championship - Wonderful experience. We made some great pasta and pesto, with great company and guidance on traditional pasta making, and pesto preparation. They also provided us some great recommendations for where else in Genoa to explore and experience.

Chef sick and cancelled 1 hr before event. - Wish I could rate this. But receiving a text an hour before the event by the chef to say they weren’t feeling well and cancelled. Only in Genoa for 1 day so won’t ever get a chance to experience. Chef does communicate just not timely to try and arrange a back up.
