Highlights
  • 156 Rte de Strasbourg - I’ll welcome you to the wine space, where we’ll start tasting our wines, most of which are certified organic. We’ll enjoy an explanatory video on how Alsace wines are made (suitable for children).

I’ll then take you on a tour of the family winery, which dates back to 1850, and discover the century-old oak barrels we still use to vinify our wines. We have a scenographic area in the cellar with a 180° immersive video projected onto the barrels - the only one of its kind in France. It’s a movie about my rather rich personal history, and my work philosophy. It’s all projected in the cellar, on hundred-year-old oak barrels (mapping on certain sequences) with sound work, allowing the audience to be totally immersed in my story.

We end the tasting in the wine-boutique area with a slice of kougelhopf (a typical Alsatian cake). A guide is on hand throughout the tour to answer any questions you may have. You’ll leave with a gifted 37.5cl bottle of mulled wine and a pack of cookies.

Alsace Tourism Trophy 2021 and Atout France Wine Tourism Trophy 2022.

What's Included
  • Tasting of 5 Alsace wines from the Winery
  • Small bottle of mulled wine to take away
  • A piece of Alsatian gingerbread
  • Snacks
Meal Options
  • Share of kougelhopf - Sweet or savory Alsatian brioche
Additional Information

Maison ZEYSSOLFF is one of the few wineries in Alsace with some century-old oak casks, each with a capacity of 10,000L, still in use for the vinification of its wines. Its greatest curiosity is the ZEYSSOLFF barrel, made in 1897 for the Paris Universal Exhibition (1900). This barrel is still in use today.

The immersive experience, with projections on the barrels and sound work, is unique in France.

Children are welcome on the tour, which is suitable for everyone.

A piece of Alsatian gingerbread is gifted to you, and you’ll leave with a bottle of home-made mulled wine!

Most of our wines are organic certified.

Can't but to recommend this wine estate in Gertwiller - While I visited Strasbourg for work, I had some days off to spend. I'm really glad I stumbled upon Zeyssolf wine estate after googling wine-related places to visit close by. Gertwiller and Zeyssolf estate are really easily reached from Strasbourg, making it a perfect destination to visit by either a car or train. The hospitality was tremendous, English is spoken really well and the estate itself is esthetically pleasing. The wines are excellent and I was glad to find other products from small producers in the greater area sold there, too. The prices at least off-season in February were extremely affordable; the service I received was well beyond the price I paid. Please, do visit this excellent location off- and on-season! You won't be disappointed!

Wonderful Family Winery in Alsace - We visited this winery as part of a tour and it was very interesting to hear the long history ( I think two hundred years) and taste the 6 wines that the winery produces. The tour included a short video from the owner that showed the vineyard from season to season and each step the grapes go through from vine to barrel. The Winery has a gift shop with their wines and local food stuffs that will match with the wines. This winery is worth a visit. The surrounding area of small villages and other wineries and are picturesque and also worth visiting

Great Tour/Tasting - stayed in their guesthouse - We actually stayed in their guesthouse through Airbnb. With that came a cellar tour and tasting. The location is wonderful and the family is welcoming and friendly. The tour was incredibly neat to see the barrel location and be able to taste the wines. They have some unique wines on the list including a pinot gris rose and a Klevener which were great to try out. We ended up with a few extra bottles in our bags on the way home! Delicious

A Great Winery and Wonderful People - We had such a great time here! This is a family owned winery and the pride really shows. We were treated to a very intimate tour of the winery and the wine-making process, plus we tasted several great wines along the way. The cellar area was our favorite. Incredible history! They have a nice retail shop featuring their wines and other fare. We purchased several bottles to consume during our trip and to bring back home to the states. What a great day!

Excellent wine, wonderful family - We visited on a wine tour with Paul and his VW bus (be sure and check that out). It was one of the best tasting experiences we have had. The wine was delicious (we purchased a half case to send home), and the host was witty and fun. We could have stayed all day. The cellar is beautiful, with some gorgeous old barrels that date back to the 1700's. The tasting room and gift shop are very welcoming and their ambiance adds to the trip. Don't miss this winery!
