Fun day trip - Comfortable and scenic drive to Bilbao. Very nice overview of the city from the viewpoint and walking through town. Lunch was very good. Seeing the museum was the highlight and definitely worthwhile.

Must see. A wonderful experience! - Matteo was our guide and did a fantastic job. He is knowledgeable and took us to great sites for a great view of Bilbao. The tour included a wonderful lunch and time at the museum. Matteo is kind and considerate and cares about our well being. We highly recommend Matteo. Thank you.

A trip to the Guggenheim and more - Matteo was great company and very knowledgeable about not just Bilbao and the Guggenheim but also subjects such as wine, food and the Basque region in general. I learnt a lot from the day.

Day trip with Matteo - We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Matteo as our guide. It was like having a local friend take us on a tour. There was no need to worry or work out anything once we were picked up at our hotel. The trip was very easy and we could ask all sorts of interesting questions. Matteo’s english is excellent. The Guggenheim Museum was on my todo list forever and it didn’t disappoint. As an urban designer I enjoyed the walk around the city. Lunch was excellent and then we got driven back to San Sebastián. Book this tour you won’t regret it. Thank you Matteo you made our trip to San Sebastián and Bilbao memorable.

Great day out with Matteo! - We thoroughly enjoyed our day trip to Bilbao and the Guggenheim Museum. Matteo was a great personal guide. From start to finish, he was like a friend who took care of us and delivered us to Guggenheim Museum. It has been on my to-do list forever and the day did not disappoint.

Bilbao and Guggenheim somewhat of a disappointment - Incredible facility and architecture of the inside and outside of the museum BUT the artwork and exhibits were very disappointing particularly compared to other word class museums that we’ve visited. If we had it to do over again, we’d not have spent the day on this experience as there are far more interesting things to do and see while in San Sebastián.

Tight Fit - We were 4 large adults and had to ride in a Ford Kuga (midsize car). It was quite uncomfortable with 3 in the back. We had expected a much larger and comfortable vehicle. Since we had made the reservation in advance and it was a holiday weekend and we were not advised of the car change we had to make do. The guide was informative and the Guggenheim and the lunch were very good. But the transportation was deficient. Make sure what vehicle you get if you are more than 3 adults.

Totally Disrupted Our Plans - We planned our trip well in advance and booked this trip a month in advance. They accepted the trip and confirmed it. It was expensive but was on my wife’s bucket list. Then THEY CANCELLED LESS THAN A WEEK BEFORE WE LEFT! San Sebastián had their film festival - so lots of the tours were booked. Looks like they got a bigger group and tossed us aside. I have never had this happen before on Tripadvisor!
