Gettysburg Fun and History - Took my two grandboys to Gettysburg. Visited the Heritage Museum. The boys enjoyed the displays, the 3 D movies, the props. We decided we did not have enough time that day so we are coming back

Excellent tour with Bob Steenstra - My family and I booked the 2 hour (guide-driven) battlefield tour and Robert (Bob) Steenstra was randomly assigned as our licensed tour guide. In all my years of touring historic sites in the United States and Europe, Bob stands out as the most informed and dynamic guide I have experienced. He is clearly an expert and the manner in which he presents history is engaging and mesmerizing. Bob made history come alive and presented the battlefield history from all vantage points and perspectives. It would be impossible to engage a better tour guide. He made the Gettysburg trip one of my very favorites.

Worth every penny! - Highly recommend this tour. You can do the normal driving audio tour but the guided tour gives you another whole new experience. Our guide Eric added enthusiasm and knowledge to our adventure but also was engaging and asked us there any specific place that we would like to visit or do the normal tour? Being a civil buff I wanted to cover more of areas we don’t normal get to. He drove the car and was very informative on each area and we got to explore roads we never would have gone down. Every time we come to Gettysburg we discover more and more. Not only was he knowledgeable he also was related to a wounded union soldier in one of the areas we went through on the battlefield. He was more invested in teaching us about this historic town and battlefield. I highly recommend Eric.

Civil War Journey - The film showing the war was amazing it gave great insight to what we were going to see at the battlefield. The museum had many artifacts and people explaining what they were used for. Definitely a must see on your trip.

WONDERFUL!! - We loved our private tour of the battle fields with Chris Brenneman. He is an expert on the Battle at Gettysburg and loves to share his information. Chris makes the scenes come alive. I learned a lot and now want to visit other battle sites and learn more. It was a tour I will never forget.

The Heritage Museum - My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this museum. The 3D experience was great. The theater experience of being in a basement, looking out the windows as the Gettysburg civil war raged on, was a highlight. The last theater experience before exiting into the gift shop was great as well. The staff working in the gift shop were both helpful and friendly. This is a must museum when visiting Gettysburg.

GETTYSBURG BATTLEFIELD AT A CLOSE-UP. - We were extremely pleased with our tour guide Tom. We met at the Heritage Center on time and we proceeded to the Gettysburg battlefield for a 3 hour tour. Tom could not have been a better guide, he knew his history and related it us in a cohesive manner. Would definitely recommend this tour. Tom even drove our car, so that we would not be distracted.

Nice collection - The museum has a nice collection and informative movies. I did expect more from the cellar experience- I thought you would feel shaking so we were actually disappointed after the all the hype on the reviews - you basically just watched a film from a basement window. It’s definitely worth a visit though.
