Amazing trip through Volta Region: beautiful views, wonderful stays in eco-lodge, and a thoughtful and insightful guide - Our trip to the Volta Region with Vince was absolutely extraordinary, driving up from Accra to the Volta Region, including a boat trip, climbing Ghana's highest mountain, visiting a canopy walk and waterfalls, and cultural exploration, from great food and stays in a wonderful community-based eco-lodge, to a lovely musical performance in a local village. Vince's attention to details is really unusual, and he takes care of everything one could ask for -- laying out a thoughtful and inclusive itinerary that allowed us to enjoy the best of the region, making sure that we travelled in a very safe, and comfortable, automobile, with a very professional and careful driver, and always trying to make sure we had everything we needed. And, perhaps most importantly, Vince is one of the best tour guides we've ever had; he is incredibly knowledgeable, thoughtful, friendly, and he is happy to share his deep knowledge of the history, geography and dynamics of the region's communities, engaging in honest discussions about the challenges facing Ghana, as well as about the country's promise and future. He is simply the best tour guide we have ever had, and we look forward to taking other trips with him in the future.

Amazing Guide for SAS family in Volta / Cape Coast! - Vincent is such an amazing, kind, knowledgeable and easy-going guide. We highly recommend him to organize and lead your Ghana adventure. Vincent worked tirelessly with me to tailor our Ghana activities to best meet our needs and interests.. My family and I had a three day adventure with Vincent to the Volta Region as well as to Cape Coast. We had a spectacular time interacting with monkeys and having them eat bananas from our hands at the monkey sanctuary. Vincent organized an amazing soccer game with the local school and our sons ages 14, 11 and 8 loved playing with the locals. Our children realized that shoeless locals were much more passionate about soccer then them and even better runners and players. The local schoolchildren also showed us how to make kente cloth and gave us an amazing drumming and dancing performance that we loved. It was all very impactful. We also went to the Cape Coast region and saw the two slave castles, Kakum and participated in a drumming adventure with Global Mamas. Vincent had us try local mangos, pineapple and coconuts along the away and was concerned for all of our needs - from mine to those of my children and 79 year old mother. When we come back to Ghana we would definitely hire him again (but would book more time in each region so that there would be less driving each day - Vincent had recommend that initially, but we really wanted to see it all in a short period). We highly recommend Vincent!

Amazing Volta Trip With Vince - The Volta tour with Mood of Hope tours was a truly amazing experience. Vince is very professional and knowledgeable, happy to answer all of our questions. The monkey sanctuary was so fun and the waterfall was absolutely breathtaking. We were a small group of students with the study abroad ‘Semester at Sea’ and I am confident that other students, families, couples, and groups of friends would enjoy this too!
