Tasty Way to See Ghent - Samuel was enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Ghent and its food. He stopped at a variety of tasting spots and all were excellent. He proceeded at a reasonable pace and there was never any difficulty hearing him. Great tour!

Very worthwhile intro to Flemish specialties - Samuel was an excellent guide - very engaging and personable and he told us about the foods through a personal lens since he grew up in the Flemish countryside. I highly recommend a tour with him!

Fun introduction! - Our guide, Marianne, was fun and energetic! She knew her stuff on fries, chocolates, “purple noses,” mustards, and waffles! It was a much richer experience to learn about the different foods we tasted.

Tours are definitely worth it!! - We have done 2 tours in 1 day. The gastronomy tour and the dark side of Ghent. Both were huge fun to do. You get a lot of information about Ghent and its history. The appetizers were good too. We got Flemish fries, Ghent nose, chocolate, mustard, lawyer and a delicious waffle. Nice to hear the stories. Samuel and Kenny are both very nice storytellers. Tip! Just go to the starting point, you do not need to book in advance. You can choose what you pay for the tour guide and you can also pay by ATM. Do it!!

A Great Intro to Local Foods - Samuel was our guide and we enjoyed tasting various local food and learning the history behind them. We were able to taste Belgian fries, Flemish stew, cuberdons, mustard, waffles and chocolate. The company also provides discounts for products at their partners so we took advantage of beer at Gruut and snacks with beers at Oort. He gave us insight on how to find authentic food and not tourist food! The purple cuberdons are the real things- not the colored ones!
