• Ghent City Center - The main attraction of Ghent is of course the city center. The medieval city center is located around the Korenmarkt and the river Leie.

• St Michael’s Bridge - St- Michael’s Bridge stands right next to the St. Michael’s Church, near Korenmarkt. It is situated on the River Leie, looking towards the city centre.
• Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle) - The Belfry of Ghent is a 95-meter high tower in the center of the city of Ghent. The tower is the middle tower of the famous Ghent tower row. A must see
• Saint Nicholas Church - This church, which has existed since the 11th century, was the church of the wealthy merchants and of the guilds of Ghent
• Korenmarkt - Since the 10th-11th century, this square has been the place where the grain that entered Ghent via the Leie or Scheldt was traded
• Patershol - The patershol is an old neighborhood in the historic center of the city. There are numerous cafes and restaurants in the narrow medieval streets.
• Museum Voor Schone Kunsten - The Ghent Museum of Fine Arts is one of the oldest museums in Belgium. The collection consists of paintings, sculptures, drawings, etchings and tapestries.
• Graffiti Street - This winding alley between the Hoogpoort and the Donkerstraat is also called the graffiti street because of its appearance.
