- Belfry and Cloth Hall (Belfort en Lakenhalle) - The Belfry of Ghent is a 95-meter high tower in the center of the city of Ghent. The tower is the middle tower of the famous Ghent tower row. A must see
- Saint Nicholas Church - This church, which has existed since the 11th century, was the church of the wealthy merchants and of the guilds of Ghent
- Korenmarkt - Since the 10th-11th century, this square has been the place where the grain that entered Ghent via the Leie or Scheldt was traded
- Patershol - The patershol is an old neighborhood in the historic center of the city. There are numerous cafes and restaurants in the narrow medieval streets.
- Museum Voor Schone Kunsten - The Ghent Museum of Fine Arts is one of the oldest museums in Belgium. The collection consists of paintings, sculptures, drawings, etchings and tapestries.
