Gianyar is a popular tourist destination in Bali, known for its unique artistic appeal. Batubulan is a hub for art, particularly sculptures, carvings, and batik painting, attracting both local and international tourists. We’ll spend approximately one hour here.
- Celuk Village - Next, we’ll head to Celuk Village, a 30-minute drive away. Celuk is strategically located on the main road from Denpasar to Gianyar, about 5 km from Denpasar. This village is renowned for its proactive and innovative gold and silver crafting. Located in the Sukawati sub-district of Gianyar Regency, Celuk is famous for its skilled artisans who excel in gold and silver design. We’ll spend about 30 minutes here.
- Mount Kawi - Our journey continues to Gunung Kawi Temple, an hour’s drive away. This temple is one of Bali’s most unique archaeological sites, featuring ancient shrine reliefs carved into a rock cliff. The site overlooks the sacred Pakerisan River, which also flows by the Tirta Empul Temple a kilometer to the north. Across the river, you’ll find a temple courtyard with old Hindu shrines in a more contemporary style. We’ll spend around one hour here.
- Kintamani - Next, we’ll drive 30 minutes to Kintamani Village for lunch. Kintamani offers stunning views of the active Mount Batur volcano and its caldera. The scenery is breathtaking and will leave a lasting impression. We’ll spend about 90 minutes here, enjoying the view and the experience.
- Tegalalang Rice Terrace - Our final destination is the Tegalalang Rice Terrace, a 30-minute drive away. Located north of Ubud, this area is famous for its beautiful rice terraces. Many tourists stop here to admire the lush, terraced fields or to have lunch while enjoying the view. Tegalalang is one of Ubud’s iconic tourist spots. We’ll spend about 30 minutes here before our driver takes you back to your hotel, which will take approximately 2 hours.
