Fun activities and awesome local driver - My honeymoon adventure went really well thanks to Yande Arta, our driver, who helped us arrange the activities of our choice. He was friendly and easygoing. As beginners, my husband and I found the ATV super thrilling with steep slopes. We rode our quad bikes through tight caves, in mud and river, and passed small waterfalls. The guides are professionals and made ocassional stops to ensure that no one in the group gets left behind and offered to help everyone snap some photos with our phones at the padi field, in the cave and at the waterfall. I suggest getting tandem (2 people on one bike) if one person is not too confident in driving an ATV in such terrains because controlling the engine, brakes and steering can be abit challenging new for riders. I used a lot of strength to control my vehicle but no complains, I enjoyed the challenge! Great experience! Ubud cave tubing through the irrigation tunnels constructed during the Japanese occupation was really relaxing, just like a lazy river, but with some little drops (totally fine for kids). Guides were super friendly, professional and hyped up the atmosphere. They even offered to help us snap photos and videos with my phone (in a waterproof case) throughout the ride so we could enjoy the whole journey while being present in the moment rather than behind the screen! We were lucky to see many swallow birds in their nests up close and 2 really pretty geckos. We went on a sunny day and it was a slow ride which is perfect for relaxation. Our guides told us that it'll be slightly more exciting if it's raining (not in a thunderstorm of course) because the current would be stronger (personally, I prefer that) but it's a give and take - photos or thrill. Between the activities, Yande brought us to a padi field and a local temple. He was knowledgeable and guided us through the locations and their culture. He made sure we saw as much as we could within our 8 hour engagement. Really thankful to have him and we highly recommend Yande Arta as a driver!

Ubud Tubing and ATV through caves and waterfall - Today we engage abang Yande Arta to be our driver for our Bali trip and he recommended 2 activities tailored to our liking. First activity - Ubud cave tubing Second activity - ATV through tunnel and waterfall in Bali - Ubud cave tubing The activity was interesting that we wade through the lazy river, under caves and were able to see gacko and birds in their nest close up. The guides were very professional and well-equipped with the skill to engage us throughout the whole duration of 30-40minutes. The guides even took many photos for us for the activities. Kudos to them ! - ATV through tunnel and waterfall in Bali We were blessed with good weather and that it is our 1st time riding on ATV. It was no easy feat to control the direction of the vehicle. There were even times where we almost lost control and went in the wrong direction. But what’s fun without adventures right? We manoeuvre through the caves and was greeted by the waterfall halfway through the ride. Overall, the ATV experience was exciting and exhilarating Abang Yande Arta was really accommodating throughout the whole 8hr duration that we were with him. His sincere and outgoing personality made us feel comfortable. Definitely would recommend anyone to engage this young yet experienced driver for their next Bali trip. It’s a 10/10 service. The Best Guide and Best ATV experience ! - My husband and I were so excited for our first trip to Bali and specifically to Ubud. As this was our honeymoon, and first trip together out of the country I wanted to make sure I planned an itinerary that would be fun, memorable, and worth the 20 hour flight. I did not expect or Forsee that we would make a friend that changed our trip to be a million times better than anything we could have imagined. I found Yande thanks to Alexa’s Solo girls travel book about Bali. Yande picked us up from the airport and the 45 minute drive to the resort was not only fun , my husband and I had an immediate friendship blossom. You need a driver in Bali - let me make that clear. While you are more than welcome to book a pick up from your resort, or use Gojek when needed we booked excursions directly with Yande. He suggested to us that we do atving in the jungle and it was as simple as that / he handled everything for us and picked us up. Sometimes people think that the excursion is the part of the vacation fun, and forget that the travel- the car rides to and from where you go are just as much the excursion. Yande picked us up and we exchanged the best conversations with him. Yande is a kind, funny, thoughtful, and extremely professional driver and guide that he takes his clients and his works deeply seriously. I couldn’t recommend him more if I tried - but after 3 days spent with him my husband and I are vehemently decided that we would go back to Bali next year rather than book a new sight because we had that much fun and loved Ubud so much and we have Yande to thank for that. We look forward to our trip back to Ubud and will be booking Yande again/ not only because he is the best of the best when it comes to drivers and guides in Ubud and Bali- but because we look forward to seeing our good friend.
