The exact meaning of the word ‘Barong’ is unclear, but it is also known as Banaspati Raja, meaning ‘King of the Jungle.’ The most traditional form is the Barong Keket, which does not resemble any specific animal. Additionally, there are two other variations: Barong Berutuk, where young men are wrapped in banana leaves and wear masks, and Barong Landung, which involves two giant puppets engaging in dialogue and singing folk songs.

The tour will start at 08.30 AM from your hotel then we will drive you to Batubulan Village to watch Barong and Kris Dance performance, the story is the battle between good and evil. Next destination is visiting Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary this site’s own very important function of the continuity of the monkey habitat in Bali. Only five minutes drive from the forest we will take you to visit Ubud Royal Palace.
Lunch will be serve at restaurant in Ubud area, the tour continue to visit Tegalalang Rice Terrace which has a beautiful view with coconut trees and a beautiful small river valley. Next visit is Taman Ayun Temple, it’s set on land which is surrounded by the big fish pond and looks like a drift on the water. Our last journey is visiting Tanah Lot Temple, the temple is very famous among tourist destinations in Bali with its spectacular view of sunset.
