Highly recommend! Art that is quintessential Bali ! - Well organised, supportive teachers, clean, and most importantly we learned a new skill, we learned the art of Keliki painting thats prevalent in Bali. Our teachers Pak Nyoman and Pak Wayan are amazing. They are so dedicated to ensuring we get the best learning outcomes. They patiently guided us through the process and taught us key elements of this style of painting. They were very thorough and thoughtful.

keliki style painting - attended this workshop last month when i revisited ubud. though not a beginner, still find it not easier.have to practice more. this time i drew a pic of rice fields, a common theme of keliki painting. with the help of the painter,after few hours, i finished my work. might not a high quality work,but still happy cuz finally finished it successfully. i really love keliki style,hope one day i can manage the skills,and create my own painting.

Great art experience - It was a great experience learning how to paint Keliki style at Five Arts Studio just out of Ubud village. The staff were very helpful and provided drinks and local snacks as well. Well worth doing if you like art, whether you have done art or not.

Really fun and peaceful class - I'm so glad I decided to try this out! It was really fun learning about Indonesian art styles and making my small painting. The venue was peaceful, and the instructor was very friendly and patient. I would love to try their other classes. Plus, the painting is something special I can bring back to remember my time here.

Relaxing and homely experience - Wayan was lovely and I had the class to myself. I learnt new skills and was surprised with how good the results were! It was relaxing and a beautiful place to spend half a day away from the business of town. Highly recommend 👍👍👍

Art & Insight Into Balinese Daily Life - I had the loveliest morning at Five Arts Studio. I had been admiring Balinese styles of painting since arriving in Ubud. I love their detail and colours. With the help of Nymal, I got to create one! He patiently helped me carefully layer with colour and outline to create dimension. A small group of participants were also creating batik. There were 2 young children amongst the group. I enjoyed watching their joy as the owner & his wife provided personal attention and assistance. There was a lot of laughter from their corner of the big breezy outdoor studio,

Lovely experience - A great experience. The tuition was clear and friendly. The place lovely and the drive there on the scooter is also very scenic. We understood the technique and left after 3 hours with a finished painting.

Don’t miss the opportunity to do this - If you have the opportunity to do this do it. I highly recommend it, a most enjoyable 3 hrs that I would happily do again in a heartbeat. Wayan is incredibly patient, he is an amazing teacher and I learnt a great deal.

Great Morning Activity - Fun activity and the time flew by very fast. Made a great Bali souvenir to take home. More information about the history of the art and personal learning of the craft would have added to the experience.
