Great way to learn about Balinese foodood! - Our driver was so helpful and interesting and the market tour was very informative. We had a fantastic time and met lots of people from different countries. But making and sharing the food was the best. So delicious!

Excellent experience! - Wow! This was such a good experience - they first take you to the marketplace and a rice plantation before going to the class - Yogi was our instructor and was fantastic - talked us through all the meals we were going to make and ingredients, and then we proceeded to make every dish (with assistance of course) - I liked that it was very hands on, authentic, professionally done, affordable, and most importantly tasted delicious! Great view during lunch as well (see picture). Highly recommend!

A must for all Balinese dishes lovers - The cooking class was professionally organised. After a trip to a local market where all the ingredients were explained and we all got a little treat from our guide, we headed for the rice fields to learn about the different crops and their use in Balinese dishes. At the cooking class every ingredient for the different dishes were already prepared so you could focus on your instructor and the cooking. Tipp: Be sure to go for the morning class! 5 star experience!

Fun interactive class - Fun interactive cooking class, food was delicious and we even made our own diy offering basket. Recommend to everyone who would like to get closer to the balinese culinary culture and family life.

10/10 - Great experience, everyone was super involved with lots of things to do and we made incredible dishes which I will definitely try to recreate when I’m home. The views were absolutely beautiful at the cooking school and the family were so kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this cooking school to anyone visiting Bali, ubud.

Rice with things, with many things - Highly recommended experience. You help to cook about 7 dishes, with explanations of all the ingredients and recipes to take you. Then you eat them (and you really have to go hungry, because they are delicious!). They also teach you to make offerings, something essential to promote culture and religion in Bali. Wayan, the chef, makes the experience super enjoyable and is seen to enjoy cooking. The only thing we saw unnecessary and of little interest was the market visit. More than market a couple of flea market shops with everything packaged and ready to go. Little immersion in that part. Still, once you mess with the stove you forget everything.

Fantastic Experience - What a great experience, beginning in the market where we were able to see where many of the ingredients were bought as well as trying some sweet treats. Then off to the paddy fields to learn about how they nurture and rotate the rice for families before heading to the cookery class. We created 6 mains, two satay sauces and a desert. Taken through the steps, from preparing the ingredients to cooking them, each person had a personal work space. After a little ‘chef’ taste of each dish it was put aside for the banquet at the end. Great morning and brilliant value

An absolute must do in Ubud !!! - Fantastic experience I could not rate highly enough. Knowledgeable and welcoming guides, the market tour in the morning is highly informative and gives you a true insight into the foods and spices we all adore. The guides were only too happy to answer any questions however simple or difficult. The rice terrace tour was informative of the Subak irrigation system and the farming practices. The cooking class itself was a lot of fun and taught techniques used in daily Balinese life. There was some comedy moments as we discovered the “Sexy” 🌶️ chilli🥰🤣 What’s best is you get to cook and someone else does all the dishes 🤣😂 And of course eating the end products totally totally delicious 👍

The most delicious food - Loved this cooking class! Perhaps the best food we ate in Ubud. The dishes had such great flavour and we certainly went away with very full stomachs. The hosts were very friendly and cheerful. The Market tour was also informative and enlightening.

Absolutely recommended for anyone who loves Balinese food! - It was a great experience. Everything taken care of to perfection. Nicely picked up at our hotel and returned afterwards. Get to know Balinese cuisine and prepare delicious dishes together. And as a highlight of course the result of our cooking may also eat. Had a lovely afternoon! Highly recommended!
