Fun and Tasty - We had a wonderful time here. We visited in July and got to visit the farm, pick some veggies from it, and cook a 6 course lunch. It's true farm to table experience. The recipes are as amazing as the ambience here. Truly special in Bali. :).

Wonderful Cooking Workshop - I attended a morning cooking workshop with Pemulan Bali and had a terrific time. We visited the morning market where we learned about various local fruits and vegetables used in their cooking, then we went to the farm cooking school where we received a tour of the farm and were able to pick out some vegetables that we would be using in our cooking. As a vegan, they were able to easily accommodate as they have an actual vegetarian menu which could be made vegan by substituting the eggs that would have been used in one of the recipes. The rest of the meals were already vegan. The farm cooking school premise was very beautiful to be in, and I would highly recommend this cooking workshop if you are coming to Bali and staying in Ubud.

Amazing balinese cooking school - The first part of the class consists in a visit in the local market and then you get to pick up vegetables that you would cook later in the class. Our teacher was very knowledgeable and explained us all the different plants they have in their family owned garden. The cooking class was amazing and the dishes we cooked were delicious! I highly recommend this experience if you want to go back home with a balinese cooking book and you belly full :)

A beautiful experience - This place is magnificent The traditional farm, where you can find home made products directly from its vegetable garden, surrounded by the Balinese forest, is the magical location of this experience Moreover, there’s Rinu, the funniest chef ever, who will guide you through this path, from picking fresh vegetables to cooking the typical Indonesian meals. I would totally recommend this experience because it can teach you that sometimes simple things are the most important.

Lovely relaxed experience for our teenage family, great food - We had a great experience. The staff were friendly, the food was tasty and enough to feed our teenage boys, We will definitely cook the chicken curry again but perhaps with a blender at home, even though it was nice to do it the authentic way once! The walk through the garden was a very pleasant and relaxed way to talk about local food. We did the afternoon class so missed the market tour but it worked with our teenagers, our desire to avoid crowds in Ubud and the class size was smaller than in the morning.

Fresh vegetables! - Well kept vegetable farm from which we collected fresh vegetables. I’m from Singapore, so the ingredients were all familiar to me, but they were combined in a uniquely balinese fashion. Loved the recipes for sambal matah and saté lilit. Large portions meant we took food back for us for another day
