This excursion offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience. In just a few hours at our local silver-smith workshops, you will gain a fascinating glimpse into our customary Balinese lifestyle and silver-crafting practices. Centrally located in the Celuk Sukawati village, the heart of Bali’s silver craftsmanship. The silver workshop will run for about 3 hours. You will learn and practice a range of basic silver jewelry techniques, including: tool use, sawing, stamping, hammering, soldering, sanding, polishing, handling silver, and safety guidelines, all under the careful supervision of expert instructors. At the conclusion of the class, you will walk away with an exquisite piece of jewelry that you have crafted exclusively by yourself.

Exactly what we were looking for - We researched classes very carefully before deciding on this class and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Our teacher, Arik, was very skilled in many techniques for silver jewellery making and was very generous in his explanation and demonstration. We had ideas of what we wanted to achieve in the class and he helped us to realise these ideas utilising a step by step approach which made it so easy for us. He saw when we were struggling and offered to step in to help when needed ensuring we achieved the result of a beautiful quality piece of jewellery. He also offered a catalogue of ideas of items which we could choose from. An intimate class in number (just us!) and setting. Not only the class but some great conversation and hospitality. Highly recommend this class! A very memorable experience in Bali. Thank you Arik!

Highly recommended - The course was fantastic. We didn’t think we would be able to produce almost perfect pieces of jewellery. The instructions were excellent and the whole family welcomed us very nicely. There was even a small snack. We would love to come back with new ideas. Thank you for this wonderful afternoon.

Amazing experience!! - This was an amazing experience! It is just wonderful to create your own original design and learn the stages involved in making it all come together.
Ari and his family are lovely!
They are so helpful throughout the whole process. The craftsmanship, technique and attention to detail is excellent.
It is great to support a local Celuk family.

Definitely go!!! 10/10 - 10/10 experience
Very fun and creative
Our instructor was very friendly as well as being incredibly skilled.
We were given welcome drinks and fruit
I opted for a fun free style ring and my boyfriend went for a sleek design - they turned out amazing!
Couldn’t be happier with our experience.
Having experienced the process I couldn’t imagine having not done it - it’s a MUST do in Bali.
Having a private class is definitely the way to go. Couldn’t have imagined it with so many people!

Fantastic jewellery making class with amazing teacher - We had a fantastic morning class at Rajata Jewellery. We each came with our own designs and we worked through the steps to come up with something better than we had imagined we could create in a couple of hours

An experience of a lifetime ✨️ - What an amazing day. Our host was incredible. His family has been involved in making silver jewellery for generations. He was patient and very knowledgeable. He had a catalogue of design ideas or you could bring your own. He helped guide us all way so that when we left we had items of jewellery we could be so proud of. This was definately a highlight of our trip. Must book.

We were ambitious but very successfull - We had the most amazing time in the silver class! Thank you so much Rajata!
We came in with a very ambitious but concrete idea on what to make and he helped us to achieve it - even though we took a lot longer than planned. But he was an excellent and very patient teacher who answered all our questions about tools and techniques and we're more than happy with the results! So beside the newly learned skills, we get to take home our wonderful pendants as our personal honeymoon trip souvenirs.
We highly recommend this class to everyone who wants to make some silver jewlery for themselves or a loved one (from beginner to intermediate)!
