This excursion offers a truly one-of-a-kind experience. In just a few hours at our local silver-smith workshops, you will gain a fascinating glimpse into our customary Balinese lifestyle and silver-crafting practices. Centrally located in the Celuk Sukawati village, the heart of Bali’s silver craftsmanship. The silver workshop will run for about 3 hours. You will learn and practice a range of basic silver jewelry techniques, including: tool use, sawing, stamping, hammering, soldering, sanding, polishing, handling silver, and safety guidelines, all under the careful supervision of expert instructors. At the conclusion of the class, you will walk away with an exquisite piece of jewelry that you have crafted exclusively by yourself.

A true authentic experience - Lovely activity outside of the crowded cities to get into traditional handmade silver Balinese crafting know how and create a forever piece of jewelry to keep. I had the chance to get a private session with Arik and choose my own design inspiration. Also he and his family were very kind to help me getting a taxi during a power outage !
I highly recommend this experience.

Awesome family art experience - Outstanding! Arik and his family were kind and talented silver smiths and very generous of their time and skills. all four of us were able to design and execute our own silver jewellery (with a lot of help from Arik and his family). Really satisfying and fun.

Highly recommend while in Bali! - The class was an amazing experience, he walked us through step by step on how to make our own custom jewelry. We were able to start by choosing from a catalogue of designs he had but also gave us the option to make up our own design if we wanted. It was a hands on experience that allowed us to make the jewelry ourselves but stepped in when professional experience was needed and the rings came out amazing. Would absolutely recommend!

A very nice experience in a family home - A very nice and experienced teacher. We (my husband and I) had this jewelery making session in a typical Balinese family home (we've met the family). Easy to find with Google maps and a short 25 minute drive with a scooter from Ubud. We went there by ourselves but the teacher also offered to arrange a taxi for us. After some introduction about the craft, you get to pick from nice examples or you can bring/make your own design.
The course is 3 hours but that's enough time to make something beautiful. If a technique is difficult don't worry he helps you so you have a beautiful piece to take home.
Just a very nice experience (with something to drink and a snack)

Arik is an amazing jewelry instructor! - The 3 of us had a great lesson with Arik . We were impressed with the instructions that Arik gave us and we were all very pleased with the jewelry that we made. We recommend this fabulous class.

Exactly what we were looking for - We researched classes very carefully before deciding on this class and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Our teacher, Arik, was very skilled in many techniques for silver jewellery making and was very generous in his explanation and demonstration. We had ideas of what we wanted to achieve in the class and he helped us to realise these ideas utilising a step by step approach which made it so easy for us. He saw when we were struggling and offered to step in to help when needed ensuring we achieved the result of a beautiful quality piece of jewellery. He also offered a catalogue of ideas of items which we could choose from. An intimate class in number (just us!) and setting. Not only the class but some great conversation and hospitality. Highly recommend this class! A very memorable experience in Bali. Thank you Arik!

Highly recommended - The course was fantastic. We didn’t think we would be able to produce almost perfect pieces of jewellery. The instructions were excellent and the whole family welcomed us very nicely. There was even a small snack. We would love to come back with new ideas. Thank you for this wonderful afternoon.
