Fantastic Nature Experience - Fantastic adventure away from the hustle and bustle and crowds. We were picked up at our villa for the morning tour. Our driver was warm and friendly. He drove us to Hidden Canyon where another tour guide, Ali, was waiting for us. We stowed our belongings in a locker and then Ali packed a small waterproof bag that held our phones/cameras and some water bottles, etc. and we started our adventure. Ali made our trip absolutely unforgettable. He took pictures at all the best stops and provided encouragement, laughter, and safety at every step. He knew the canyon so well and told us where to put our feet and hands. To be sure, this is a rigorous hike through swift moving water and requires agility to climb over rocks. We are a family of four and our two children (ages 11 and 14) did very well; I don't think I'd feel as comfortable if they had been younger. The canyon itself is fantastic: a journey through limestone cliffs carved out by the river over time. Following our trip through the canyon we went to a lovely local restaurant where we were given a menu with many options of delicious Indonesian food. Our driver then took us to Tukad Cepung Waterfall. This was a very scenic and quiet place, the hike was far shorter but with many steep steps. Overall, we highly recommend this experience. It was a highlight of our stay in Bali.

Terrific way to see hidden gems - This is the perfect way to see a couple of true hidden gems. The natural settings are stunningly beautiful & just challenging enough for a couple of fit ‘oldies’. Our guide, Wayan Jaya, was delightful, informative and helpful. The package of two experiences, a lovely local lunch we’d go back to and transportation is super value. Highly recommended.

Truly a hidden gem! - We had the hidden canyon all to ourselves and it was an amazing experience!! It’s truly a hidden gem. Our guide was so nice and helpful. The waterfalls were very touristy and not quite worth it. Our driver was so sweet and told us all about the Indonesian culture. The place that we had lunch in was so local and nice!!

Amazing experience! - Putu Micu was our driver, and he was friendly and professional. The car was air-conditioned. too. We stopped at a wonderful silver place before arriving at the canyon. Our guide was attentive in making sure we were safe and knew where to place our feet and hands. It is no joke that you will be crossing rivers and getting wet up to your armpits. Only people who are fairly in shape should attempt this, as you have to reach far with your legs and arms in some places. At the end of canyon 2, our guide had to practically pull us up a boulder. After canyon 3, we stopped to drink a coconut, and the walk out was interesting with crops, some farmers, and a fun little mini-zoo (cost extra) that my 20 yr old daughter really enjoyed. Towels were offered, a private shower with soap, and mineral water. I would have been happy to just have the meal after that, but we signed up for the waterfall, too. We were able to choose between 2. The waterfall was stunning, but since we chose an afternoon pick up, the sun was low, and the waterfall wasn't as picturesque as it could have been. We were then driven to a specific restaurant where we had several items from the menu we were able to choose from. The food was good, and the atmosphere lovely. We got back to our bungalow around 9pm. If I had it to do over again, I would probably opt for the morning pick up.

Great day out - Absolutely fantastic day out, right from the start of the day we were picked up by our really friendly driver Putu Mika and then we had a really exciting walk round the canyon which involves a lot of climbing, swimming and trying to keep balance but our guide was brilliant and made sure we made it through safely. He also took lots of really good pictures. We really felt we were looked after by the whole team.

Canyons are Great BUT... - The canyon hiking is beautiful and challenging and we also had a really great guide. HOWEVER I've removed 2 stars for the terrible "zoo" that's at the end of the hike. Animals are crowded into too small of cages and monkeys are chained for selfies with tourists. We and the group behind us bypassed this sad attraction which really detracts from the cool hike.
