Brilliant relaxing family time in Bali - Three of us went to the Batik class today (Mum, Dad and daughter 9yrs old). The tutors couldn’t have been more welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were shown the process, given practice materials and then we started our own creation (templates available). We have come away with 3 pieces we are really happy with, the tutors really help to make sure you make something worthwhile. Our daughter would go back tomorrow, and probably the next day too! A great way to spend relaxing time in Bali. Highly recommend it.

Discovering the art of batik: a tranquil and inspiring workshop in Bali - Our batik workshop in Bali was a truly delightful experience. The setting was quiet and pleasant, providing the perfect environment to learn and create. We appreciated having pre-made designs to start from, which made the process more accessible. The wide array of colors to choose from, along with examples of how they look when dry, was incredibly helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed learning the batik technique and absolutely loved the workshop!

10/10 experience - Such a fun experience and I even left with my own piece of artwork. It’s such a good souvenir and it actually made me feel like an artist! The staff were so helpful and I’d definitely recommend to anyone to get involved!

Amazing experience! - The class was amazing! Wayan and the staff are so lovely and supportive. I felt so at ease when painting and they allow you as much time as you need. The studio is amazing and calming with lots of aesthetic and authentic designs. Overall, I highly recommend visiting here, I will definitely be back next time I’m in Ubud!

A memorable morning - I had such a wonderful time during the batik art class. The location was peaceful and well equipped and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I really loved learning a new skill and I’m thrilled with my finished artwork. Incredible value for money.

Very good experience - Kind people that show you how to do the painting. It is more difficult than as expected and requests a lot of patience ! The result is really good and nice memory from Bali! I like it !

Fun art experience for all ages and skill levels at authentic Balinese home - Great instruction, very patient with kids, snacks & cold water were complimentary and the Bintangs were 35k. They gave support for the wax part which took the longest time, and did the wax for little kids. There are beautiful views of rice paddies. One of the artists was exceptionally skilled and his batik work was on display. There is an opportunity for the artists to give some information around Traditional Balinese life as the studio is at their family home unit and we did get to meet some of their family members preparing food and cooking in a traditional way.
