Awesome tour up a volcano with Putu and Tri - Great tour, relatively easy hike up, even easier down. Tri spoke great English and Putu took great photos! Sunrise was beautiful, arrived in good time for it.

Lovely sunrise and lovely guides - We had a lovely time with our guides Tri and Putu. They were both very friendly and were excellent guides! Tri spoke great English and happily answered all our questions. The hike up took us 1hr 45mins with plenty of breaks and wasn't too hard but a little bit of scrambling over the rocks. We got a banana sandwich and egg at the top to have while we watched the sunrise which was very much appreciated. We walked down a different way which was a much easier route. You could take a bike down if you were tired but there were no alternatives on the way up.

Beautiful sunrise and amazing guide! - Amazing sunrise trek with Tri! She was an excellent guide and made the experience both safe and enjoyable. She also secured us an amazing spot for sunrise once we got to the summit and took lots of brilliant pictures for us! We would definitely recommend!

Definitely recommended. Went exactly to plan. - Everything went like clockwork. Pickup at our hotel exactly on time (at 02:30), friendly and helpful guide, good timing for the hike up, a spectacular sunrise, then an easy trip back down. We were back in our hotel in time a late breakfast. Definitely recommended.

Such a powerful experience with an amazing team - Such a powerful experience, not for a faint hearted - literally- , Kadek, was great and communicated everything easily and efficiently, his assistant took us up the mountain and we experienced the sunrise. WOWW beautiful and the weather gods cooperated

Beautiful and worthwhile…. - This experience was amazing. My family and I had a great time. The hike to see the sunrise was brutal but our tour guide Carreek was extremely helpful. She encouraged us and physically helped us when needed. She was friendly and made the experience much easier.

Mount batur hike. - The booking process was easy, but the pick-up arrangements need improvement. It wasn’t clear that pick-ups are from designated points until after the booking was made, not hotels, especially at 1:30-2am. My friend and I had a frightening experience when a group of dogs surrounded us, growling and following as we tried to walk to the pick-up point. We had to call the driver to pick us up because we couldn’t move. For the safety of young women or others, a better system for late-night pick-ups is needed. Aside from that, the experience was fantastic—our driver was lovely, and the tour guide was amazing. We met incredible locals, heard great stories, and the hike was totally worth it. Just be cautious about the pick-up situation.
