Reproducing this meal once home!! - We were picked up and the wonderful private experience began. Petu is a great chef and teacher BUT more importantly a wonderful human being. If you know how to cook or not it doesn’t matter! You will learn and enjoy this time at her family Balinese compound Her grocery store is her yard. Which is so cool! Her sous chef is her cousin Maddy. We made 5 entire dishes (with all Sauces and marinades) in no time flat because she is so organized. I have done many of these cooking classes. And this is the first time I was allowed to eat anything before it was all done. I loved that. The meal and fellowship was fantastic But at the end of the night I decided my favorite “dish” was Petu. She made the whole night magical. I know I read all the reviews before I booked this experience. Nothing was over exaggerated. It was all it claimed to be! May you and your family be blessed forever Petu Kathy + Brett

Fabulous, fun evening of cooking, eating and laughing! Great for family of all ages. So delicious! - Santika was fabulous! A local and international chef, we cooked a spectacular meal together which was brilliant for my teen and 2 young children. He made us all feel welcome and it was a lot of fun and a truly delicious meal! Would highly recommend. His restaurant in the hills had a beautiful breezy outlook overlooking the lush gardens of their villas where you can stay. Loved the whole experience!

Wonderful experience, fun night had by all! - We had a wonderful evening with chef Santika! I would highly recommend this experience to anyone! He picked us up at our accommodation and drove us to his village about 20 minutes from Ubud and was happy to answer all our many questions along the way. Santika’s place is very scenic (he also has accommodation available there which looked great) and the kitchen fully equipped. The cooking class was very interesting, informative and fast paced. We learned how to make lots of dishes and I actually feel confident I could make them again at home. They all tasted AMAZING! It was a real privilege to get such hands on instruction from such an experienced chef. For anyone with food allergies just remind Santika beforehand and he can cater to your needs. For kids, be careful, the knives are extremely sharp!

Fantastic Cooking Class Traditional Balinese Food - 🌟🌟🌟We would highly recommend this cooking class. 4 family members did Class 1. We spent a fun few hours learning how to make some wonderful Indonesian food. The Chef, Santika, is so knowledgable and helpful and is obviously passionate about food preparation. His whole team work hard to make sure the class runs very smoothly. Enjoying the food after the class was really wonderful. Can't wait to try the recipes once we are home again.

Great authentic experience! - Whoever is looking for an authentic experience needs to visit Putus cooking class! We did it after already spending a few days in Bali and would recommend others to do it not in the beginning, too, because this way we could recognize the spices we already tried before and could remember them better. The price is in the upper level compared to other activities but it's definitely worth it! We were picked up, brought back and even had enough food to pack it up for the hotel. Putu sent us the recipes the next day, we will definitely keep these for home!
