Fantastic, would recommend highly to anyone - We took a day trip visiting some of the locations around Ubud as a couple - Balinese House & jewellery workshop, rice terraces, tirta empul, waterfall and the monkey forest. Suli was our private driver & guide for the day, and he was fantastic. Really friendly, right from the start of the day at 8am we weren’t in a rush to get going and he was super flexible in giving us time if needed before heading out. Throughout the trip he would explain things going on as we drove past - locations as well as ceremonies that we drove past - and kept us posted on where we were headed etc. Everywhere we went Suli would share his knowledge, brilliant if you want to learn about Balinese culture, or how the rice farms actually operate, or what the water rituals in the temples mean rather than simply just seeing the sights. We also did the spiritual cleansing ritual at tirta empul ourselves which Suli explained in great detail, making the whole trip that bit more meaningful. All expenses were covered throughout, with water provided. Lunch at the rice terraces was outstanding, and Suli took our order in the car and sent it to the restaurant in the morning which worked really well. We also stopped at a coffee plantation which wasn’t listed in the itinerary, but was well worth a visit - also covered in the price - which included trying 14 different local tea and coffee variants. Amazing. We also were able to try Luwak coffee which they farm on-site at a cost of 50k IDR which was an absolute bargain, really informative. We ended up buying 2 boxes to take home. Suli himself was super friendly throughout the trip; on some other day trips we’ve had great drivers who maybe didn’t want to chat so much in the car which is always fine, but great being able to ask questions and have a conversation in between places - again especially if you want to learn about Bali and the places you’re seeing along the way. Suli also took some amazing photos of us throughout the day on either my phone or his, which he airdropped for no charge after each visit. Could not recommend highly enough.

You must book this trip - Such a great tour . We had the best time . We chose a private tour as we wanted to get local knowledge and have everything taken care of and we got this and more . Suli was amazing . Everything was perfect . He guided was through a wonderful day seeing and exploring the best of Ubud. We did not need to worry about taking great photos Suli had it covered . Everything was perfect . Suli took great care of us. Highly recommended .
